I am making a strawberry pie and cannot find my recipe for the crust I use. I am sure it was butter, flour and powdered sugar, so I searched the recipe forums for the recipe...which I found here but I cannot find anything except the recipe below.

BELOW is what I found but the 1 cup butter and 1 stick butter...makes no sense, maybe there is an error and it should read 1 cup flour? Can anyone help me out? I think it was called a cookie crust....THANKS!

I think these ingredients are not correct but it is what I found when searching the forums.

CRUST~
1 cup butter
1 stick butter
1/4 cup powder sugar

@Mom2Dogs- I've never made this but there are lots of recipes out there for cookie pie crust.

The ingredients you list wouldn't work because there's nothing to bind the butter and sugar together. Most call for crushed graham crackers or cookies (hence the name).

I hope someone can find the original recipe for you. (Strawberry pie...yum!)
