New philosophy shower gel scents in the works UPDATED 7/31/23

Heidi hosted a QVC live feed this morning. I only caught the tail end, but she mentioned that there are a few new scents coming. One is a "Maple" (Morning Maple I think she said) scent, one is Spiced Orange and one is a "Sugared Crust" (I am thinking like sugar cookie?) scent. More to come as these are probably going to be holiday scents.

All of these sound good to me if they are true "foodie" scents. While some of the other holiday scents have been nice, I am not as crazy about the "floral" based ones. (Like Holly and Jolly and a few of the "snowflake/snow" themed scents.) I love ones like Egg Nog....smells just like Egg Nog.....Caramel Apple.....smells just like a caramel apple etc.

ON TODAY'S LIVE STREAM WITH HEIDI AND MARI LYNN, NEXT MONTH 2 WILL BE AVAILABLE, SUGARED CRUST (BUTTERY COFFEE CAKE, CINNAMON AND EGG NOG TYPE OF SCENT) AND MORNING MAPLE, (CINNAMON PANCAKES/MAPLE SYRUP SCENT).

Everyone original poster mentioned sound wonderful to me - I am definitely a sweet/foodie scent girl! Excited for their launches!

They sound good, but like you, I hope they are true food scents, and not with floral notes added in.

Maybe we will see them for Christmas in July.

All is well here, enjoying some nice SouthEast PA weather. (Mid 70s/low 80s and no humidity!) Life is good!

@AuntG I hope so too! But if not, at least have it in late summer so that it is available for the fall.

One of my favorite shower gel scents from long ago was Harvest Spice. It was a pumpkin/orange/spice scent. Hoping the orange spice is similar.

@Tissyanne Hot Buttered Rum and Candy Corn (and the Caramel Candy Corn) are scents I would love to see them bring back too!

I still have an unopened bottle of Hot Buttered Rum. It was a scent that I had requested from philosophy numerous times and when they finally released it, I think I bought about 10 bottles! Since it is gelee formula, I am not worried about having it for a long time. I've been keeping it in hopes that they will bring this out of the vault so I have this to compare a new release to. I had an old bottle of Egg Nog and I opened it when they re-released it last year and was happy to confirm that the new ones smelled just as good as the original.

I also loved Hot Buttered Rum, I have a few of those tucked away in the stash. And Pumpkin Spice Muffin is another favorite, I have one left in the stash which is being opened this fall. I was so happy to have Eggnog and Carmel Apple back again this past year. I really wish they would bring back the original Shower for the Cure for October. It was another favorite of mine, such a beautiful milky tangerine scent.

I love Philosophy shower gels. Will these new scents be available soon on qvc? Hope so LOL. I'm using Cinnamon Sugared Apples now and it smells so good. My favorites are Caramel Apple, Sugar Chick (wish that one was brought back), Crispy Marshmallow Bars and Frosted Animal Cracker.

I had forgotten about Pumpkin Spice Muffin! That was a great scent. I still have an unopened 32 ounce of pumpkin icing but that is the only pumpkin scent I have left in my stash. We need more pumpkin scents.

I also loved that tangerine scent in the Shower for the cure shower gel. and Sugar Chick! I loved that too....smelled just like a pack of Peeps. I remember getting it in a set with Chocolate Bunny.

So many scents that I wish they would bring back. I am looking forward to these new ones as I've been disappointed with some of the other holiday scents they've releaseed .

The Cinnamon Sugared Apples came out around the holidays and it's very good. I hesitated to buy it but I'm glad I picked up several at an after Christmas sale.

I loved Dreamy Tangerini. Barely Glazed is another one that comes to mind. I used to see a lot of Philosophy at TJ Maxx stores but they haven't had any in quite a while. They don't have much of anything at all in the store near me though really.

I loved the Shower for the cure too. I wonder why it went away. I still have Sugar Chick in my stash.

Do you remember these? They were on an auto delivery plan. Those were the days.

I would love to see Barely Glazed offered again. That one was very nice.

I wish Philosophy offered more variety, instead of Fresh Cream, Sweet Vanilla Fig, and Lemon Custard. The sets seem to always be these three.

One thing I do really like is the whipped body creme, and I like the body balms. They remind me of a solid perfume.

@Tissyanne Hi there old friend. It has been a while! ITA with you about the same Philosophy offerings. In days gone by it was always something new from them and so exciting when it came out. This was usually on the Philosophy website. I know you remember that and the packaging was so cute. I still have one box I saved for many years because it's the cutest thing ever. I used the shower gels and should get rid of the box but just can't lol.

I also enjoy the whipped body cremes and try to keep 3-4 of the small ones around. I use it pretty quickly. I guess because I like it. I also have a large Gingerbread one but I rarely use it. I found it on a clearance table.
