topic Does Anyone Keep ThePoinsettia Plants You Bought Before Christmas? in Garden

This year my MIL gave me a small white poinsettia she won at a Christmas party. It is lovely and seems healthy. I want to try and keep it and have it re-bloom next year. I also bought a very large red poinsettia after Christmas at Lowe's for $1. Is it worth my time and trouble to try to keep these plants healthy until next Christmas, or is it better to buy new ones then?
