I am not sure if I have the same spinner that was the TSV, but my P&H spinner will turn on it's post in order to catch the wind. In other words, it not only spins clockwise/counterclockwise, but also moves on it's axis around the pole.

I don't think it would be wise to try to prohibit the axis turn. I've seen it spin really fast when a storm is coming, and I think it could break if not allowed to move with the wind direction. I bought mine from P&H several years ago. We leave it out all winter and it is fine.

Anyone that ordered the spinner TSV , I would like to know if yours turns sideways it is facing the front but when the wind plows it will turn side ways, we put it in like it said , does this happen to anyone else if not let me know how I could correct this , there is nothing to stabilize it from not turning.

Is it suppose to do that I like it to face the front so I could enjoy looking at it.
