I have seen the fox prancing up our street with a baby bunny in it's mouth.

And I suspect a cat got a bunny a couple of weeks ago. Because it left most of the remains.

As far as I know we only have seen one bunny recently. And it is tough to see only comes out to the birdfeeder about 10 PM - can't blame him or her.

We have a very active birdseed feeding area.

Lots and lots of birdseed are consumed by birds, squirrels and rabbits.

This year was the first year that we noticed a baby squirrels hanging out at the birdfeeder. It was a tiny guy and we were surprised it was always by itself. WELL, right now 4 little squirrels and a Mom (I am guessing) are eating at the birdfeeder.

They are so tiny. But I am glad Mom showed the other 3 baby squirrels where the regular supply of birdseed is.

Hope more than 1 rabbit shows up. But the fox, hawk and cats seem to keep the rabbits numbers low.

Not everyone does and I never quite understood why.

I fear for our beautiful bunnies as well, they are so sweet and gentle.
