If this is true, I would think pestide companies would be out of business.

I will never use or give my money to pestide companies.....some do ...but I choose not to

Birds can help. Chickens are great for grubs and ground-dwelling insects. Purple Martins are great for flying insects. Birds can also eat your crops. The catbirds were very smart at getting around and under the netting I used to protect my strawberries and taking a bite or two from multiple berries.
