My Purple Clematis's have sure taken off! They're planted on the side of an outbuilding across from our raspberries. Just thought I'd post a few pictures.😃

Beautiful! I used to have them but they were very reluctant bloomers for me. Never in a million years did mine look like yours. Lol

@cheriere - Wow, what beautiful photos! I loved clematises, when I lived in England.

If you don't mind me asking, what camera do you use to get such amazing photos?

We've had them for a few years. Every fall I cut them back a whole lot. This has really helped them to grow.

I've seen all of your beautiful cactus and plants. I'm so envious of those.😃

Those are so beautiful @cheriere!

I used to have purple cleamtis but they were never as full! I think they like more sun. I loved them. Such a graceful cheery flower!

PS-I don't know how your photos could be any better, more clear, and just spectacular! Really! They are good enough for your book-not to worry

@cheriere Beautiful! They are so lush and abundant with flowers!

My son planted a clematis vine in our yard a few years ago. It was small and it's just starting to take off a bit....meaning it is growing and not as small and scraggly as it was. We have several beautiful purple flowers on it but nothing like yours! I hope mine can look as beautiful someday.
