I got up early this morning so I could get a few pics of my cherry tree. It already has ripe cherries! They're delicious too! Some wildlife has already been after them, so I guess I need to pick the ripe ones. I had to crop the pic of the tree quite a bit because it wouldn't accept the file.

@cheriere Be glad I am not there. The wildlife would be the least of your worries. Cherries and grapes are my favorites. I do not have an off switch when eating fresh cherries.

Yesterday, we bought fresh cherries from a roadside vendor. I ate way too many (almost half).

Edited to add: Your photos are beautiful. Posting photos has become quite difficult and very frustrating.

Lol, there were a few more half eaten ones on the ground too. I guess the bird maybe couldn't carry those two she selected.😃

At one time we had a cherry tree. The problem was most of the berries were too high to pick and provided a feast for the birds. Enjoyed the blossoms though.

I've got a terribly neglected cherry tree in my back yard. Our property has too many large trees shading it, so the tree never flourished. But, it does produce enough cherries for the squirrels and birds.

Coach introduced a mini-bag with cherries and I'm considering it.

I know what you mean about a lot of the cherries being high. Luckily, the tree isn't super tall, but I'll still have to get a ladder to pick them. I always hate going up a ladder too.❤️

I started carrying "mini" bags a few years back and love them.

When I saw that print, I nearly lost my mind.

I may just continue to look at it since I surely don't need it!

Oh, how I love cheeries and cheery cobbler!!!! Growing up had a red cherry tree, like yours, and a black heart cherry tree. So much fun trying to eat them all before the birds raced me to the finish line.

I am soooo jealous. Cherries don't do well here. Are these sour or sweet? We, at least, get fresh sweet cherries in the grocery store, but not ever fresh tart pie cherries, not even frozen. The only way you can get a tart cherry is in a can already made into pie filling.

I did grow a naturally dwarfed tart cherry tree from Stark Bros. at my previous house over 20 years ago, and it was doing well last time I saw it.

These are tart cherries, but not so tart you can't just eat them right off the tree!❤️

I wish you could grow one where you live. It's hard to get all the cherries without a ladder because they grow so high too. That's my least favorite part lol.
