I'm in Zone 6. I have three orders for plants and they haven't shipped yet, and I'm getting nervous that they're not going to come. I placed a new order last week for hostas, and it almost immediately said "in processing" and gave me an estimated ship date. But the three I purchased over a month ago still say "advance order" and say nothing about an estimated ship date. These include the Cottage Farms sunpatiens that I've purchased for the last several years. Mind you, I ordered multiple sets, for friends and family. It will be awful if they waited all this time and then the orders never arrive. That leaves us all scrambling for replacements.

Mine said next week.

I think it's done so I'm going to plant them this weekend. In containers so I know where they are. I have had my miniature roses covered up by all of my vinca (which is overgrown for sure).

I'd e-mail QVC social team and check on them or if you can see the tracking on your order, take a look at that and see if it will show you where they are.

Weather has been fluctuating so much anymore. Still in my neck of the woods, also in zone 6, the adage has been not to plant before Mother's Day.

@WonderGrl I ordered from Girl Next Door (Roberta's) and received my plants on April 18. That was too early for my zone (6b/7a). The Cuphea are in tiny little pots with almost no soil. Trying to keep them alive by adding more soil. We had frost a few days ago, and as others have said, in our area the rule of thumb is Mother's Day.

I planted out the cone flowers after I hardened them off. They are perennials, so should be ok. You should be able to plant out the hostas when you get them. You really can't kill them. Check with CS about shipping date for the SunPatiens, but even if you get them within the next two weeks, they should be good to go - providing they survive the trip.

I wanted to buy a few plants from Carolyn to support her venture, but I think I'm finished buying plants online.

I ordered some plants several months ago. Our frost date usually falls right before Mother's Day. I've been waiting for my plants to arrive but I just checked again and now it says it is processing for an estimated delivery June 1. So, I just cancelled everything. At this stage I can buy what I want at our local nurseries and have them planted for several weeks by then.

I did have better luck with HSN. I ordered a hibiscus tree and it came a couple of weeks ago and is thriving in it's new pot.
