I had read that starting seeds veggie and flowers that its good to put the trays on the refrigerator so it keeps the tray and soil warm. I put a tray of different veggies and a tray of zinnia flowers and within 3 days all the flowers had come up and by the 6th day almost all of the veggies have come up too. I had to take clear dome covers off because plants ere already touching the tops.

You can go to a good local nursery or full-blown garden store and hopefully find heat mats that you can also use to put your trays on. This is what we use sometimes. You can also purchase a small grow light to help the sprouting process. This also works.
