Desert Rose help

I have three desert rose plants. Two are large and one that I purchased last year is Small. The problem I'm having is two of them have lost their leaves. Small one has lost all its leaves and one of the larger ones has lost most of its sleeves. They are inside and not outside.

Does anybody have an idea of what might be wrong?

I don't have this plant but I know what it is and that it's a non-native exotic. The word "desert" in its name implies that it requires strong, intense light which is often not available in homes in the US, especially not in winter. What were the instructions when you bought your plants?

As Martha Stewart says, feed your plants. You eat and so do plants. They need food.

@ccst I bought one from amazon. I haven't had mine a month yet. It lost a few leaves too.

I searched YouTube for Desert Rose yellow leaves & Desert Rose lost leaves. I found one on how to save a dying Desert Rose

Lots of videos out there.

I don't want to give advice, since I'm learning too.

@ccst Don't worry about losing the leaves. They do that during the cold months. I have 8 of them and most of them are practically bare. Some have a few leaves here and there.

Mine are showing signs of new buds forming, now that spring is here. Are yours? You might have to look closely to see it.

@Pezzie. Your plant is lovely. I love the "trunk" of this species. The pot is perfect too. How old is your plant?

@Kachina624 Plant is probably 7 years old. It's my oldest one. By the way, the "trunk" is called caudex.

@Mary Bailey I havent seen any of the Q's offering so I can't speak to that. All of mine, with the exception of one came from Lowe's or Home Depot for a lot less $$.

I understand being hesitant to spend $50 for a living thing sight unseen. At the other places I mentioned you can pick your own, however you might not be able to pick the color of the flowers unless they are blooming and you can see for yourself.

If you do buy one post a pic. I love them. Flowers hang on for a long time.
