Has anyone bought plants from Aldi? I noticed they have rose bushes for 4.99$.

I have bought hostas and raspberries. The hostas are coming up nicely, too soon to tell with the raspberries.

I haven't but, if the plant looks healthy and they've attached a card with care instructions, it could be worth a try. Just buy one to start.

I bought hanging baskets there a couple years ago. They didn't look good after a week, so I returned them. You can always get a bad batch. I'd try something from there again. I don't think to go there because it's not convenient. It's usually a sales flyer that gets me there.

There is no Aldi's here where I live but if I see a supermarket offering a rose-- it better have a label on it. I usually go home and research it first and then come back for the item. I did that last year with a rose called Koko Loko. One left at a local Stop & Shop. Came home researched it and went back for it!
