Just a fun fact since I imagine many gardeners already know the daisy name comes from "day's eye" for the daisy's habit of closing in darkness and opening in and sometimes following the sun.

I've been planting a few daisies in my yard (including the tall German chamomile) and am witnessing this firsthand.

These are not my own daisies. I am appreciating the daisy flower more and more every day. They are such happy flowers.

Love Daisy's such pretty unassuming beauty.

Then there is the Lore of Marigold- Marys Gold. the Yellow flowers were placed at the feet of statues of the VirginMary thus Mary's Gold.
