My First Flower Bed In 40 Years

I was quite a gardener when I was young and lived on a farm. Fast forward through apartment life and two homes. Sure, I planted a few flowers and grew tomatoes in pots, but nothing on a grand scale. We recently had a hugh tree come down, creating an area for a good sized flower bed. I'm so excited about this project -- just like a kid again. All I know is that I like mixed colors so I'll get a little of this and a little of that. While it won't impress anyone else, I'm as happy as a pig in ....um...mud.

@AuntG. Have fun selecting flowers in a rainbow of colors, planting them, then cutting some to bring inside to enjoy.
