Amazed at the size of plants in Ireland!

Just got back last night from a trip to Ireland. Our friends were celebrating their annivasary and asked if we would join them there for a few weeks. All I can say is amazing! As we traveled around the country everything was lush and green. Their Buddleias were over 10 ft high and just as wide! Mine only grow up to 4 1/2 ft and just as wide. Their Fuchsia were even bigger. The were massive. Back here in Maine they are sold as hanging basket plants. My friend and I could not believe how huge they were. (we are both gardeners and enjoy the gardens and landscapes just as much and at times even more then the amenities of a place. Gorgeous country, Ireland. Wil be going back again.

@Rockycoast Glad you enjoyed your trip. I bet the climate there is more conducive to plant growth........not too hot, lots of rain, etc.

Yep, Kachina624, I do have pictures. I tried uploading them here, but the files were too big. I'm not sure how to change the size of the photos to fit the Q's file. I'll have to wait til my daughter comes. home.

Windows 10 you have to right click the photo and click on Microsoft office and go to where you resize the photo. Save it to your desktop and then transfer it (upload) to here. I probably left out a few steps on resizing.
