      <title>"Broadway" rose question</title>

      <description>Can anyone give me suggestions as to why this rose ( among my many) gets lovely foliage &amp;amp; will not bloom? ! No black spot, fertilized egg she'll coffee grounds etc... Help!!?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You got rid of the link for this person to e mail Consulting Rosarians in their state to ask why the rose isn't doing well -- great foliage, no blooms!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.rose.org/resources/societies/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.rose.org/resources/societies/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Coffee grounds don't really do much for roses except maybe acidify the soil. Best to use a granular fertilizer like Espoma Rose Tone monthly on your roses, a half cup sprinkled around it during the growing season.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 2 roses 'Madame Anisette' &amp;amp; 'Frances Meilland' -- great foliage, few blooms. I spoke with several other Rosarians and we are finding though these roses have great disease rsistsnce, the blooms are few. Maybe they would do better in a warmer area of the US.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We all have them in an area that gets over 6 hours of sun and get fed monthly. &amp;nbsp;Ask the Consulting Rosarian this about your rose.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
