I am busy planning which tomatoes I will plant this year. I like to grow tomatoes I cannot get at my farmer's market.

My faves: Aunt Ruby's German Green - large, sweet

Sun Gold cherry tomatoes - not sure if these are heirloom but they are so yummy and prolific - wouldn't be without them. I plant 2 or 3 in case the deer get to them before I do!

Mortgage Lifter - huge, beautiful red...classic tomato taste

Brandywine - not as large as Mortgage Lifter but very tasty

Purple Cherokee - tasty and pretty in salads, etc.

What are your favorites? I garden in Zone 5 - southeastern Michigan
