Can appreciate your hard work, as I spent most of Wednesday wrestling scalloped bricks back into place and cleaning up in general. Could barely move the next morning, but flower beds look marvelous. Nice to know others have the "gardening sickness" as my daughter describes it.

Just hauled 27 bags of mulch from my driveway to the backyard and laid down mulch all morning - not bad for a woman in her mid-60s! (aka tough old broad)

I wish I could still do that. I had to quit after having double hernia surgery. I now have a big piece of mesh holding my innards in, so I don't dare lift those bags anymore.

Great you did it...60's not too old...keep at it. I find it rewarding when I get so much work done..makes me happy. I just potted several roses in LARGE pots, carried BIG bags of soil , etc. Oh yeah, my back, and body didn't like it...but I did!! 😀 drs think I may have an internal hernia, but I go about carefully...I'll deal with that if and when. Enjoy your hobby!!

I got my 1 bag of topsoil at the supermarket (40# bag) and used it entirely to fix the dip in my lawn near the Belgian block. Of course the sod never goes back into place the way it once was. So one left over piece went to where some low weeds were germinating -- dug them out and put that sod there!

Some scalloped bricks got returned to their original upright position today in my backyard.

I also removed the protective wrap around my 'Yaku Prince' rhododendron which already has large buds on it. Our winter was mild and I think it might do better in a warmer hardiness zone than Zone 7. Lowes had it originally and it was only one time. Maybe it was meant to go to the southern stores instead of the northeastern ones!

My suet feeder went back to the garden shed and I already removed 1 dandelion! Tomorrow we are supposed to get a heavy soaking all day rain, so you try to work around the weather!

Off to change & shower!
