Hi I was wondering how soon QVC is going to start all things for gardening. Are they going to offer the utilty wagons this year. They are great for tranporting all the plants,soil and mulch around your yard. Sure hope I see them on here again soon.

Jan 17 there is a cottage farms TSV and the entire day is gardening. Happy Shopping.

Looking forward to next Tuesday - garden programming pretty much all day. Cottage Farms, Roberta's, Garden Party with Carolyn, Pat's Garden Guide, Plow & Hearth, The Great Outdoors with Dan, Outdoor Living, etc. etc.

@shopone, We have no way of knowing what the buyers have ordered for this year's garden shop, but I would think the utility wagons will return. They've been featured the past few years, so the item must sell pretty well. If for some reason QVC does not bring it back, HSN sells one in their HGTV collection which is the same concept. I own the HGTV version and LOVE IT!

@Trix Actually we do know quite a bit of what the buyers have ordered. Carolyn did quite a long live feed video on her FB page earlier this week and showed the warehouse area where lots of new items are held. A lot of them still had the note cards on them for the hosts to learn special features about each item.

Items like paw print lawn lights, umbrellas with new lighting, solar driveway/lanscape lights on remote control, new designs for sloggers, lots more I cannot remember.

@Caaareful Shopper, Facebook would have to pay me to use it. Therefore, I see nothing related to QVC which occurs on Facebook, or any other form of social media, apart from QVC.com.

Oh, no.............I'm just not ready to start thinking of gardening. Our ground is frozen solid and that's a first after a number of warm winters.

Plan ahead, research what you are interested in and buy from reputable nurseries or online sources. Look through catalogs both thru snail mail or online.

This is what I do. Go on the Garden Web site at Houzz and see if anything was written about plants you are interested in. Ask other gardeners questions on that site in their numerous garden forums.

In addition, Philip Watson said on his FB page that he'll be in Carolyn & Dan's show tomorrow morning [Sunday, the 15th] with his book from last year, "Garden Magic." It'll be great to see Philip again.

QVC must have the most stupid planners alive. It's barely the middle of January and a whole day of nothing but gardening. I guess they didn't learn a thing when they lost money having Christmas in July during the hottest summer on record.

I spend more time by far not watching than watching.

Well, @Kachina624, I don't think QVC is stupid at all! Buried under ice, worn out after Christmas, I'm dying to see some green and blooms. I've been pouring over garden catalogs and drawing plans since New Year's day! I'm fired up! I want to see garden shows!

Dan H. was presenting the pruners and kept referring to The Grouchy Gardener as "The Grumpy Gardener." Joe, the Grouchy Gardener's son, and an Englishman, was too polite to correct him.

I've purchased several Cottage Farms products and not had much luck. I was going to purchase the gerber daisies that were on recently but they didn't get very good reviews. Bottom line: Read the reviews before making a purchase. (Seems like a no brainer, but sometimes I get carried away when I see something pretty on TV!)

I just realized it was an all day gardening event on QVC, so I missed the shows (busy painting). Anyway, I did order a couple things, no plants though, I only buy plants in person at my local nursery.

If you get carried away and then change your mind soon enough, you can go online and cancel your order. Sometimes, this works for me. Sometimes, it's too late. Worth a try if you're reall suffering buyer's remorse.
