    <description>&lt;P&gt;You don't have to deadhead them, but most florals look better with spent blooms removed. &amp;nbsp;Pansies prefer cooler temperatures, but if you plan to keep them throughout the summer cutting back will prevent them from becoming leggy and looking droopy in the summer heat.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just wondering, Hubby bought me a pot of pansies. Do they need to be&amp;nbsp;dead headed. Had back surgery recently and trying to as little as possible. They do look better dead headed but is it really necessary??&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've never deadheaded mine. &amp;nbsp;But they tend to get leggy so I cut them back from time-to-time and that rejuvenates them.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
