Okay, honestly How Many TSV Kits did YOU get by now?

...... or planning to get soon.

I am not asking from a perspective of just vain curiosity, but would like to know, how did I do on this TSV? Am I an overboard wenaddict and plain crazy, or if I am NOT crazy enough, and will need to quickly rectify the problem and get some more TSV?

I bought five - three TT, one POM and one FIG. All on a/d, of course.

Hi Sonechko,

Good question, I was thinking the same thing. Ok, I bought 3 TT and 1 SAM, all on Auto delivery. I calculated that if I used one bottle of TT oil every two months, I should be good on oil for 2 years. My heart wants more, but I don't want it to go bad.

I bought 4 on AD. Since many of the ancillary products are part of my every day routine it made perfect sense. I'm spending a lot but saving a ton in the long run. I use POM oil and RTM daily as well as TT. I bought 1 each TT, POM, lavender and SAM. I may purchase another POM single ship as a gift. The recipient doesn't use the oil so I'll keep that for my stash.

I bought two so far. TT and Fig both on auto delivery. I really want to do the Lavendar and I'd like to try the SAM (never used that one) but both are supposedly good for my hair type. But I don't know if I will because I still want to try the new seasonals too and a MIF gallon possibly.

@sonechko As long as you are not buying more than you can afford and/or use before they go bad (and I don't think you would do that), you are just fine! Enjoy!

I'm only getting one TT on AD. Would love at least one more, but money is just so tight right now, and I needed clothes more than I needed Wen! I'm even having to forgo a fall seasonal, at least for now. If things get better, I want a 32-oz. FTP.

@Deanie Technically the CC's have a two-year shelf life, but I think that's AFTER they've been opened. Not sure about the rest of the products, but I've had some oils and RTM's open for a year, and they are fine. Just store them in a dark cool place. Some store their oils in the fridge!

Absolutely HAVE NO DOUBT that CA does the BEST job of removing the oils from the scalp. I don't use the remoist (I probably should), but I use the oils EVERY night. I even use the original fig sometimes, from years ago. I wanted to use the oils nightly also, but I agree, by the second or third attempt, my hair was "challenging". With the CA, I have no issues, even using the scalp oils nightly. Tea Tree was my HG for so long, but once started using the oils EVERY night, I needed the CA. I will not be without it, and if I feel "sticky" (I live in south Florida), I will use it for both cleanses. It is my new favorite. Hope that helps! I hope Team Wen pushes the CA with this TSV, since it comes with the oil. I fear that newbies will load up on scalp oil, and then have "weighed down" hair. I sure hope they brought in enough.

I am really in no position to judge you, sonechko.

You know I did my homework and I think that, if you are a regular user of all or a majority of the products included in the TSV, then it makes sense to stock up with this deal. The savings is really significant. I only bought two--TT and POM on A-D. But I'm seriously considering buying another TT set.

If I could get this deal on my favorite seasonals (WWC, SHP, SHL, SOB) my credit card would spontaneously combust!

Several years back, Chaz mentioned that he had recently found a bottle of the Sweet Almond Mint (SAM) CC prototype that was formulated way back when. He said that when he used it to cleanse his hair that it still worked just as well.

I started using Wen in December 2009 with the purchase of the December TSV which was (5) 16oz bottles of Classic Wen CCs (all except Cucumber Aloe). -- I started with Sweet Almond Mint (SAM) which, like Fig, was too heavy for my hair. -- Every six months or so, I would revisit the SAM CC but it always gave me the same results for my hair.

Last December 2014, I was going to try the SAM CC once again, but it had turned and smelled a bit off. -- So since I had originally opened the SAM CC in December 2009, it probably took about four and a half years to go bad, once I had opened the bottle.

Some of my styling cremes were probably opened 3-4 years ago and they all still work well.

I have the 12oz Lavender Replenishing Treatment Mist which was offered as part of a TSV about 3 years ago, and it still smells fine.

I have a Sweet Orange Blossom (SOB) Treatment Oil that I purchased in April 2014 and it still smells fine.

For those that find it drying, I would suggest priming your ends with something else and concentrating the CA on your roots for oil removal. I have no issues using it anymore, but I did used to prime my hair before the "nightly oil adventure"

Just tell him that he can't see what you bought because you started Christmas shopping early and you don't want to ruin the surprise for him. Then you just run and hide your Wen stash instead.
