WEN Upcoming Shows

Chaz will be back in studio for next week's WEN shows.

All times are eastern:

Friday 9/16 9am (one hour)

Fri-Yay (hit)

Saturday 9/17 2am (one hour)

AM Style (hit)

My own suggestion for anyone that's looking for the formulas that are supposed to be restocked would be to check the website before the first show airs. I don't know if they will have arrived by then, but I wouldn't be surprised if they sell out very quickly again.

Let’s see if I can remember what Chaz said somewhat accurately in his video☺️:

He is trying to get more seasonals to QVC. They should know what he can not get more of, so any of those formulas will not be showing up at all. But if something is showing ‘waitlist’, that means it should come in shortly. (In regard to that, I looked and some of the gallon seasonals are showing back in stock.)

Also, he doesn’t know if the price of the gallons will remain the same next year so he suggests that you may want to order more on auto-delivery this year and push the next deliveries out to next year, if pricing is a concern for you. (Although I don’t think he realizes how many times QVC cancels the auto-deliveries!)

The new fall and winter CCs still are not in.

These are the products he will be presenting in the two hour shows this visit besides the gallons:

Scalp tonic and brow serum duo
Blessings UNIBT remoist
Seasonal remoist 8oz duo
Seasonal UNIBT 16oz duo

(Scalp tonic and brow serum was supposed to be on last visit, but the brow serum just arrived. Still supply problems.)

That’s all I can remember. People were shooting questions at him so fast he didn’t have time to answer many, and I didn’t see the video live.

I am watching Chaz now & he just made the comment that he won't be back for the holidays. WHAT?! Are we not going to get a WEN TSV at all this year? I'm downright sad.

@SurferWife that is very sad to hear that there will not be a TSV for the holidays. On the other hand, if Chaz is unable to fulfill the new seasonal CC orders that were placed over 3 weeks ago (I don't think I've ever had to wait this long for a waitlisted item) then he would definitely have a hard time fulfilling the TSV quantities. If I'm remembering correctly the winter TSV has always offered seasonal formulas? I keep wondering what the heck ingredients are in the Pecan Latte and Chocolate Truffle that are so difficult to obtain?

I sure hope not. I can't believe his sales would go from sky-high to rock bottom. There are a lot of WENners who shop QVC, so I'm hoping it's still an issue of supply-chain & not QVC trying to phase him out. If it's the latter, I would like to think Chaz will have a "plan B" to ensure we still get some good sales. I don't think he would abandon those of us who are used to buying our WEN at QVC.

I figured I would try the Chocolate Truffle as part of the traditional holiday TS of winter seasonals - I guess not now! I'll have to decide if I want to waitlist it as a single.

ETA: Since there is free shipping today (Sunday), WEN is still at a sale price, and Mr Rebates bumped up the rebate to 6% I might go ahead and waitlist the Chocolate Truffle today and hope to get it later. Yes, I would probably have gotten the holiday TS (I could have gotten more Winter Vanilla Mint too) because that would have been a better deal, but I really don't need 3 cleansing conditioners so this is probably fine.

I think that's the case. Judging from some of his comments and the limited quantities and product delays, I think he's still having pandemic-era problems. Personally, I think trying to introduce new formulas at this time was a mistake since it appears he can't even get the basic products in stock.

On the other hand, who knows what's on the Q's agenda anymore?🤷‍♀️

I keep trying to ask if the holiday trios will be available again this year and haven't had the opportunity to catch him when he's answering questions.

He did say that he hopes that the Fall Pumpkin Latte will be here in October. He's pushing for that. Didn't mention the Winter Chocolate Truffle.

I was able to watch the show that ran live last night and get in orders for a trio of mousses in FGP and WVM, but those were the last items on my wishlist. I most sincerely hope and wish that the Q puts Chaz on air for more hour shows before Oct. 9 comes and the gallon sale ends. I would think that the numerous sell-outs would tell the Q that there is still significant customer demand for this line and they should not skimp on the presentations!

I am curious, @geezerette You are the first person to use the name for the new fall CC of "pumpkin latte", but the Q is also using it. I thought it was Fall Pecan Latte? It may be a moot point if it has the honey complex in it, but if it is indeed a pumpkin latte and no honey, then I can use it. My waitlist order for the chocolate truffle CC/spray duo in the big canvas tote was cancelled by the Q, and I can't re-order it, as it is no longer a choice, and those current formulas that are still available don't include any I can use. I was really looking forward to that chocolate truffle, it smelled delicious in the peel-n-sniff sample I got!

Ha! I haven't got any inside information about the new fall formula. I was just saying what I'd heard Chaz and some of the others call it. I didn't even look at the Q's site to see that. I think I'm just so used to everything being Pumpkin Spice this time of year that I wrote that without thinking. Maybe it's Fall Pumpkin Pecan Latte? That sounds even more delicious!😋

I couldn't hear well because Chaz was away from the camera and speaking with someone after his last show, but I think he said that the Q wanted him to be in studio in October for a hit or two. He said he declined that invitation because he didn't want to travel all that way just for those few short appearances (can't say that I blame him). In fact, at the end of his first visit, he wasn't sure if he'd be back in studio before the sales ended, but that he and the Q were negotiating it. And he had some commitments after his first appearance as well, so this quick turnaround was a surprise to me.

I'm not sure if he'll be back in person, but I can't imagine not being on a hit before the sale ends. He can get set up at home for a hit fairly quickly if they want him. And it doesn't take up much airtime. We used to get a schedule of his appearances for the whole gallon month, but everything has been scr*wed up for the last couple of years.

However, since so many gallons are sold out already, that may be a deciding factor if they don't have much to sell. I hope he can get his raw materials and suppliers in order soon because I'd hate for this lull to be an excuse for QVC to drop him. I still think that's a long shot just given how many gallons he sold this year with a limited quantity and limited appearances. 🤞

@CamilleP Weren't you one of those that got a sample? I thought it was you who said it was Pumpkin Pecan Latte (I could be wrong about that). But QVC does list it as Pecan Latte.

@sueinsf You are 100% correct! I went back and looked at what I posted when I got the "peel-n-sniff" samples early this summer, and the label did read "Pumpkin Pecan Latte". So the Q interchanging which scent comes first is just trying to save characters in their selection boxes. I reviewed it as not having much pumpkin scent, but smelling super-warm and toasty, so the pecan and latte scents were coming through. I admit, if either or both of those new formulas don't have the trimonium honey complex in them, I will order 32 ounce bottles just to see how they perform for me. I wonder if the Q would honor the free shipping on a waitlist order? Maybe I should order today?

@CamilleP I actually like the formulas with the honey in them, but understand that you do not. I have the Pecan Latte/Pumpkin Pecan Latte in the 16oz on waitlist now. The Chocolate Truffle is only available to waitlist in the 32oz. If you're right that it's really a wonderful Chocolate scent, than I will probably be fine to have that in the 32oz size.

Yes, if you order it today you should get the free shipping when it ships. That would be my understanding, anyway. Your order will reflect the free shipping at time of order and they just fulfill it once it comes in.
