I might mix it with Fig every now & then but Tea Tree is my favorite! It is hydrating and and feels really good on my scalp.

I recommend trying it. I've never know someone to try it & not fall in love with it. Many Tea Tree lovers didn't "need", but it gives such a great cleanse!

Hi @beach-mom ! I'm not sure how to answer your question. I do use Teatree, but don't really "need" it either. I think it's not quite as moisturizing as sweet almond mint, lavender, fig, or Pom. People swear by it for their scalp. I don't have an oily scalp, either, or dandruff. I think those are the two issues that it's mainly used for.

however, it sounds like you are curious about it, so now may be a good time to try it with the good TSV prices🙂

    Do you need it?

     Doubtful, @beach-mom .

Basics: Tea tree is an antibacterial, anti viral, antifungal, needs minimum 10 minutes contact with the scalp to have a therapeutic effect.

Chaz's problem/solution cleanser.

Do you have flakes, itch, etc? If yes, try tea tree.

I had a chronic itchy dry scalp that started when hormones fluctuated in perimenopause. After decades, it was WEN tea tree, used daily for one summer, that finally ended that itch. I don't use it at all any more, but keep a quart in storage.

Remember, both your Pom & Seasonals are soy based. The Tea Tree is wheat, just in case you have sensitivity.

Thanks everyone for your help before TSV kickoff! I think I'll stick to my Seasonals for the TSV, and maybe get a regular Tea Tree to see. If I like it I'll get the larger one sometime.

@x Hedge - Thanks for pointing out both of my favorites are soy based. I never paid attention to that! I don't think I have any wheat allergies, at least that I know of!

I, like many other WEN users, use TT for my first cleanse, almost exclusively. I noticed that you use Pom for a first cleanse and a seasonal for the second. Both of those types of CC are soy-based. Are you sensitive to wheat products? Pom is the only classic formula that is not wheat-based, so if you are sensitive, you might not like the Tea Tree cleanser. If you only use the Pom and seasonals because you like the scent and results, then I heartily endorse trying Tea Tree, it's very invigorating and cleansing. If you are allergic or sensitive to wheat in external use products, though, you might want to skip TT and try the seasonal or treatment TSV products. Good luck with your decision.

I'm not allergic that I know of; I do just like the scents! I didn't pay attention to the fact they are both soy based.

I tried Fig, which was too much for my hair. I tried SAM, which is OK, but I like POM better. I like Lavender, but again I just like POM the best! I have not tried Cucumber Aloe or Tea Tree.

I love Tea Tree and I use the oil for the overnight treatment. It works nicely for me.

You don't need a problem scalp to use it. Though when I was going through Chemo I used it in the shower on my bald head. You would be surprised how sensitive your head is through treatment..........anyway it gave me relief and kept my scalp soft. To me there is something special, almost mystical about it!
