One huge box!

I just got a giant box delivered by UPS from the Q this morning. Inside were most of my June WEN purchases (I got the TT gallon I ordered the second day last week, it came from California) plus my PTR giant retinol bottle! It took the Q a long time after I placed each order to ship things, and now I know why, they were waiting to see if I was done ordering so they could put it all in one box. It all came from the East Coast warehouse and thankfully nothing got broken, since each item was in it's own box inside the giant one. Probably more efficient, but kind of a hassle to deal with. At least I now have my sunscreen, with the heat wave this week I'll need it!

I too received a huge box of Wen, plus a couple other items in the spring. All separate boxes inside the ginormous box delivered, honestly it was a bit of packaging overkill, sizewise. Looks like I'm going to get another multi product box again. Four Wen items have the same tracking #, in spite of different order #'s. Should be delivered tomorrow.

@CamilleP You should read my post from last week. My huge box was a mixture of everything (i.e. 2 pair of shoes, sunglasses, clothes, kitchen things, and on and on and on!

It was left at the bottom of my front steps (which I no longer use). It was left out in the rain and sitting where it could have been stolen.

QVC should have put them in smaller boxes. Someone said, "Would you have rather paid for several items to be delivered"?

Well, guess what! I actually had to wait until someone could come and help me carry it up two sets of stairs.

I have signs everywhere to put packages in a very large (the size of a trunk) box with a lid. THAT was ignored.

OK, now I'll hear "That's not QVC's fault". Right! But QVC didn't have to put all of the various (I'm talking some of everything) in that huge box.

So, I can play that game too. I boxed up lots of stuff in the same box, had someone load it into my car and sent it back for a total of $6.95.

QVC held back those items for a long time so they could put everything into that box....waiting...waiting...waiting.

Wow, I wonder if this is a new policy the Q is trying out, and part of the cause for the ridiculous shipping delays we've seen recently? I remember when it used to be so expensive when they'd charge us separate shipping on half a dozen different items, even when they were in the same order. I need to go back to see if they did that with these four items. Honestly, I am glad I order so few things from the Q any more, their shipping costs and hassles are a royal pain. Other than WEN and a little PTR and Philosophy, I mostly shop elsewhere these days.

Annabellethecat, I am so sorry you faced such a hassle! Honestly, the Q is chasing shoppers away, if it weren't for the great WEN deals I'd become a very infrequent shopper!

I received one big box, but it just had my Mango Coconut gallon and the big single tub of 613 body treatment. It could have fit all the other WEN stuff I ordered!

Oh boo hoo. Looks like it'll be another day, maybe two, before my big box arrives. Looks like ups is going to hand it off to the post office instead of an early delivery when they're in my area. Disappointing 😫, all new items I'm anxious to try.

@CamilleP Yes, the Q said that they are trying out some new tthings with shipping which may cause delays for a short time. They have definitely heard all the complaints over the last couple years and the people posting that they are done with the Q. Today I am expecting two gallons and a bunch of other stuff. I'll post a bit later and comment on whether I got a big-A box too.

my gallon and my triple mousse shipped the same day, about a week after my order. They were shipped separately. Gallon arrived today, mousse still says en route to UPS. I think it is under a sorting table in the Q warehouse.

That's usually how HSN ships when you make multiple purchases on the same day. My earlier purchases including my gallon came in separate boxes last week. Today I received my Bella Spirit UNIBTs and my dry oil in the same box

@Kjelle I'm still getting my products at about the same rate as I did before, unless it comes from Ontario.....then I can get it in two-three days. Unfortunately, there just isn't any way I can determine which facility they are using to ship the products.

WoooHoo! @World Traveler, I just checked my order status as saw that ups did not pass my big box off to the post office. YAY!!! Delivery today. I've been so anticipating these new Wen items, I can hardly stand it. Silly, but true. The SMM ODO is part of this trove of new goodies and I'm doubly excited with reading how fabulously it has been reviewed by you and so many others with the recent deliveries. A happy day today, yep, happy, happy! 😆👍💖

@rochelleS We don't want to hear on the news that someone in your area, wearing brown shorts, was attacked on their way to a front door holding a treasure trove of boxes labeled QVC. Got it?

Just stay calm, cool, and collected when you hear him nearing your house.

My dog can hear the UPS truck when it is a couple of blocks away, no lie! She goes crazy running back and forth from the window to the front door. Throw rugs are in disarray after she has finished her running around. ha!

lol @World Traveler, you are funny...but years ago you could have seen me in the headlines. "Woman Arrested, Painter Found Stuffed In His Can." I was furious when this little **** lied about how many cans of paint were used in my new condo. I paid for the materials and knew exactly what was going on! He tried to charge extra for what was not done. I was smokin' mad.

Nope, the ups guy is a friendly face. I can hear the truck as it enters my small neighborhood. Like radar, hah. My cats ears perk when someone is near my house. Lovin' our fur babies!

@worldtraveler my UNIBTS were held at the post office for four days I was so angry. But all is well they arrived yesterday and it was perfect timing .I really needed to get my hands on those UNIBTS at the time.

Did you get a chance to ask the mail person or the post office WHY they kept them so long? That doesn't make sense (unless they were trying out the various scents!).

I received two hugs boxes last night. One gallon was in each box along with onther items I ordered - all WEN. Oddly, they weren't delivered until about 9p when I normally get everything between 11.30 and 3.30p. Everythig was ordered on June 1st - some actually on May 31 because I am on the left coast.

Stuff I ordered on June 2 just got to my city today and hopefully will be delivered tomorrow.

So that's a consistent 11 days. It's not really much of an improvement so far with their 'new and improved processed.'

The issue is not really the shippers-we all know what they are capable of. What is at issue is the Q's processes internally before the shippers even get the item and they shipping that they decide to pay for in order to fulfill our orders.
