If I cut my hair considerably shorter it would still have the same characteristics. I'd still use the same methods and the same WEN products.

It would just dry a lot faster.

currently, on my hair I use WEN :

cleansing conditioners

treatment oils

styling cream (for the heat protectant)

replenishing treatment mist

glossing serum

Remoist

To a lesser degree I may use dry oil, treatment balm, mousse

The only non-Wen I use is eco gel.

I prefer to protect curl clumps while they're drying by forming a good gel cast to eliminate frizzing.

If you want to use WEN only products,

I've gotten something sort of similar to a gel cast by accidentally going too heavy with the 613 cc for leave in.

I recently used 40 pumps of WEN mousse to see if it would form a gel cast for me. It doesn't.

The standard is No running a comb or finger thru hair after final rinse. Apply products via 'praying hands' or squishing them in. Then no touching till 100% dry.

Ive used a Denman brush to create more uniform clumps. It works, but I do well without it too.

I diffuse med speed /med heat. Go lower if needed to keep from blowing curls apart.

I use a square of smoooooth fabric to SOTC, or i oil my bare hands, but prefer the fabric as hands in hair=encouraging frizz.

Checkout 'squish to condish' videos too.

The Curly Girl Method. I have looked at many YouTube videos and the majority of the tutorials focus on long hair. I am curious if any of you doing the CG Method have short hair? If so, what method are you using for cleansing and styling? And what Wen products or other products have you been successful with? Thanks so much for any suggestions!

Just an fyi: the CG method includes not using products with silicone of any kind. Wen does have silicones.
