Good evening, ladies! I want to buy the TSV because it's such a good deal, even better than the gallons. However, I have coarse, Asian hair that can sometimes get frizzy. I usually use the Fig and mix it with Pear or 613. I've tried the rice formulas before and thought they were drying. I'm leaning toward getting the SAM, but I've never tried the lavender. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you very much for any help!

Lavender adds a lot of volume. Good for fine, thin, limp hair. Makes coarse, highly textured hair too 'poofy'.

It's okay, especially when combined with the Pear, but it's not as moisturizing as the Fig. I really appreciate your help!

I like Fig also. I have frizzy, thinner hair but lots of it and it is long. I like WVM and I just spent $200. I better get off the computer. Happy Holidays.

DO I EVER!!!! YES!! My hair is prone to frizz big time. However, I got the dry oil, which is on QVC's site now and you get two of them. I spritz it into my hands, rub them together and apply to hair after it's done being blow dried. My hair will NOT frizz even in humid conditions! Since your hair is very coarse, if doing my regime doesn't work, spritz it into the hair. I love this stuff, for me it IS a game changer. Next August, I'll be a Wen girl nine years and I use ALL Wen products only not the Texture Spray (makes my hair too poofy) LOL! But the dry oil will not allow my hair to frizz. It's amazing! I love Asian hair! I wish mine were that nice black color with the natural blue highlights. Mine's mostly platinum, yuk. I don't want to color anymore. There's some variation underneath, which makes it look like I "frost" it. I know, that's an old term. LOL! I would strongly recommend the dry oil. Anyway, what's great is if we don't like something, QVC is great in returns. I returned two impulse buys that were not Wen items and I didn't like them at all. I must have been day dreaming or something that day. I don't want to say the name of the products because someone else may like that brand. Oh well. But that's my recommend, yeah, dats it, dats it!!! LOL!!!

I'm trying the TT for the first time since it works well for you. I also have an oily scalp and have to wash my hair every day. Crossing my fingers that it'll work so that I can limit the number of days I wash my hair. Although, I don't know how people who exercise get away with not washing their hair. :/ Thanks again!

After reading the forum tonight, I placed an order for TT. I was unable to cancel my order for SAM, but I chatted with CS, and they said I could return the SAM for free with the return label since I was unable to cancel it. It was nice when they gave you a grace period to cancel in case you changed your mind about color or scent of something, but CS said there's no longer a grace period. That's too bad because it'll probably make me less likely to click "Submit" as quickly. Which is probably good for my wallet.

The answers people gave were similar to the onse you got in this thread:

* Sweet Almond Mint (SAM) and Tea Tree (TT) are both great selections

* Lavender -- lol, my advise is to run away from it as fast as you can. It does work well for some Wenners, but it's the formula that gets the most complaints about frizz.

@pinkmochi I think you'll really like SAM and TT equally well. And you may find that each does slightly different great things for your hair... and so may decide to keep both of them. They are great values!!! I think you have two winners for your hair!!

SInce you have thick, coarse hair, your hair may not want much amino acid complex and the Classic line is the only one without the amino acid complex (Wen Kids CCs don't have the amino acid complex). -- Seasonals, 613/319 and Restoratives all have the amino acid complex in them.

-- bebe

I forgot about the amino acid complex, but I always mix a Classic with a Seasonal or the 613; I never use the Seasonal or 613 on its own. I guess my instincts were right!

@pinkmochi Glad to have been of help. I hope you can handle that scent, its

kind of like medicinal but soon after I'm done rinsing, my whole head feels

very fresh, clean and revived. You may also feel some tingling while washing

since it has some menthol. Please let us know how you like it!!!
