Will this product return?

For several years I have used the Wen finishing cream. It comes in a tube and is a very thick cream but helps my wimpy, fine hair feel thicker and tames the frizzies. I can't find it on the QVC site. Does anyone know if they have discontinued this product or is it just out of stock? I know it is also on Chaz's site. Thanks for any input.

I doubt it. It wasn't reviewed well here and I don't think it sold well, so QVC has no reason to bring it back.

It's a product that many people don't know how to fit into their routines and people either love or hate. A lot of people hated it.

You can buy it on Chaz' site, as you mentioned, or you can get the drugstore version from John Freida/Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch-Up Creme. I used that before the Chaz Dean version. The ingredients aren't identical, but the performance is and it runs about $7 instead of $36.

@Kardi I also use the Finishing Cream - it works well for me but only a pea-sized amount or it weighs my hair down. I stocked up so I didn't even realize it was no longer available on QVC, and Chaz never pushed it. There were a lot of complaints when its price suddenly jumped from $27.00 to $36.00, but that was a while ago. I guess we'll have to get it from Chaz's website from now on if QVC no longer carries it.

@Kardi I also used the finishing treatment. It may not be on Qvcs's right now but I saw it there a few weeks ago.

@HappyDazeYes, that was a major complaint; many said they liked the product but didn't understand the sudden increase and refused to pay it..

@qtrmoonlady1 Wow. That is quite a price increase. $36 is as much as you pay for a 16 oz. bottle of seasonal CC and there obviously isn't 16 oz. in the tube! I like the FTC and think it's a very underrated product. I think the last time I bought it was part of an ODO with the 613 mousse and something else (maybe the 613 RTM?).

@HSB1204 Yes, it seems to pop up every now and then in a kit. One reviewer referred to it as "the unsung hero of WEN" because it's never promoted, yet it works so well for some Wenners. I find a tube lasts a very long time since I only use a tiny amount. I am glad it's coming back to QVC!

@Kardi, maybe give a try to 10 fl oz Light Finishing Treatment Spray. It's brand new finishing product. It's simply amazing!!!

I'm open to any other product that will work for me like the Finishing Creme does. If another product is less expensive, all the better. The Finishing Creme lasts me a long time since I use a very small dab, but when I need to repurchase its a killer.

Hi @Kardi!

I asked Chaz this very thing on Periscope last week. He stopped and gave a long explanation about how good of a product Finishing Treatment Creme is. He also told me that he hoped to get it back on the Q, possibly in March, as a stock item. Meaning they won't be presenting it, but it should be available on the Q website. I'm going to just keep searching but I think it may appear when he does on March 24th! I hope so! I love the stuff. It does last me a long time. The tube I have is getting low, so I really want to get some more. I don't want to run out! It makes my finished, styled hair feel so soft, look so smooth and last a long time!

I'll keep watching and be sure and post when I see it!

This is a product I have, but don't really find much value in using, although perhaps I should play around with it more. How do those of you that like it use it and what do you think it does for your hair that other products don't? I still have a nearly full tube open and another unopen in my stash, from previous kits. Even if I used it regularly, using just a tiny amount, a tube would seem to last a really long time.

I saw that too @Jen44. I thought Chaz said that he hoped it would be back in stock at QVC in the next few months and to make sure to let QVC know you want it back in stock. I am not sure how exactly we let QVC know what we want back or to see at QVC. I personally added my thoughts and requests on the "Suggestion" forum, but I don't know for certain it is read by QVC.

Have you tried the smoothing glossing serum mixed with the styling cream? It's what I use and does not weigh down my hair. Put on while hair is wet in the shower before you get out

I use it like I've seen Chaz demo a gazillion times on the models. On dry, styled hair, use an edamame size with 2 pumps of smoothing glossing serum. Rub hands together then add Volumnizing Spray....I vary the number of sprays from 6 to 13. Rub hands together and then run through hair, styling with your hands. It helps keep my style for days and my hair is so smooth, silky and shiny!
