Do WEN Oils Help With Acne?

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend, Wenners!

I think I remember reading about WEN oils helping with facial acne. Do any of you have experience with this? If so, are certain oils better than others?

My 21 year old son who had acne as a teen is now getting it again, but the treatments he previously used aren't working now.

I never tried the Wen Oils on my face. I have used tea tree oil as a spot treatment also argan oil.

My face kept breaking out mostly around my temple area & the only thing that made it stop was using Proactiv. It made my face even drier though.

I have since started using Phytoceramides. I now use Isomers new Tea Tree Oil face cleanser & her new RenewaGlow Clay mask cleanser. No breakouts since.

I think miy problem was from my face being so dry. It's now clear & hydrated finally.

Hope your son find something that works. Nothing more irritating using product after product that does not work.

I asked Chaz on periscope what he would recommend to someone with oily acne prone skin and he recommened using TT CC.

I doubt it but I know it helps with skin rashes and ezema. I had the worlds worst ezema that would not go away andwen oils really helped the kind and finally healed. If any can helpwith achne I am thinking tea tree but some people are sensitive to tea tree. You can gt it cheaper probably in the vitamen area of your store

I do not have any experience with that. However, when both of my kids were teens and suffering from acne good old Proactive worked wonders for the both of them. I had it on auto-delivery and it really was fantastic. Nothing else had helped. This was many years ago. Not sure if they've changed the line or what but it was very good stuff back in the day.

@BExplorer Another Pro Activ fan here. I, myself, used it for quite awhile and had great results with it. I have been good the last couple years with not needing it, but definely do recommend it when someone has been striking out with other produts. Now I am still very oily and do get the occasional hormonal break-out around "that" time, but for the most part my skin is pretty good (unless I anger it by switching products on it too much).

I have very oily and acne-prone skin, and I use WEN Tea Tree Oil on my face in the winter and the TT RTM in the summer. They do help keep my skin clear.

@BExplorer do you think you can get him to exfoliate his face? I'm thinking if he did that the oil might sink in a little better. And use just a couple drops of oil and pat it in. Remind him real men take care of their skin 😀 I hope it works for him!! You're a good mom !

ETA a good exfoliator might be PC 2% BHA

Good point regarding exfoliation @Suebdoo! "Real men take care of their skin"--haha!😄 I will tell him that. He will get a kick out of being discussed on QVC's WEN forum. 😂
