Wow. That makes me mad, not because he borrowed the idea from Chaz, but because he just enforced the stereotype that straight hair = responsible, church lady and curly hair = party girl, wild side. Women with curly hair are discriminated against because of this stereotype that we cannot have naturally curly hair and look/behave like professionals. I've personally had it happen to me, so I take great offense to this stereotype.

By the way, I heard a similiar reference today during the TSV presentation. The vendor was referring to one of the models and her before curly hair and said while she loved the look if you need to go on a job interview you can you use the straightening brush for the right look.

Okay there is so many things wrong with this video.

First and foremost, the obnoxiousness is just too much. He's trying wayyy too hard these days. Please, for the love of all that is good, calm.down. Like I've said before, I used to enjoy watching him even though I didn't like his products for my hair. But now..it is so over the top it truly makes me cringe. It took me some serious patience to watch this video. hyper hyper hyper and with that one host it made it even worse.

Second I just do not like the haristyles he does. Very old fashioned. If you were referring to that hairstyle he did at around 3:25 all I can say is wow- who wears their hair like that?? No one, that is who.

And why does he have to be so darn rough on those ladies heads??? Geez. Does he ever show long haired ladies? Seems like it always short hair that he poofs up to high Heaven. I would like to see him work with really long haired ladies.

That is just a plain stupid comment. I've never heard of that sterotype before but it is so ridiculous. I have straight hair and I'm anything but conservative and never have been and actually was a wild child ,lololol! But seriously, stupid.

@ChynnaBlue @jaxs mom @HappyDaze. I'm glad I wasn't the only one with thoughts on this. Besides the obvious copycat demonstration, he is so hard for me to watch for 5 seconds. I agree with all you said about offensive comments. Along with the very over the top poor ball styles, he then shows how to straighten by spraying the hair spray and then running a flat iron over it. Crunch and burn.

@ChynnaBlue I have curly messed up looking hair ...on purpose, and I have never thought about it being anything other than... me. To have someone comment to you in a negative way because of your curls is just unreal.

@HappyDaze...I had the same exact thoughts when watching the video! I've seen other presentations where he takes jabs at Chaz and it is purely antagonistic.

Did anyone notice that the comb he is using is missing at least one tooth? Gross, just gross.

And, "we're supposed to be praying to the Lord here" "We need to go to church, no I want a drink." Really? And folks used to get their knickers in a twist because Chaz said Namaste?

Totally agree, styles are SO dated. That poor short haired model with the brown hair. Does anyone want a sausage roll across the top of her head? It must be a signature style of his because I've seen it 'around.'

Desperado. Jealousy is never cute or attractive, nor are frazzled, frayed ends, that taper down to nothing on the ends. First thing I noticed.

But I agree with every word everyone said about this "show"! The best line that made me really laugh, what @Drythe said - "If he were 1% as cute as he thinks he is he might be somewhat interesting" Is not it so? Lol! And, yeah - outdated in every way, including his own hair style. Also very rough with models hair.

By-the-way, does he have some serious hair extensions here? Because, if I remember correctly, his ponytail was waaaay thinner before.

@Drythe Yes his church comments I thought were in poor taste. I don't know about anyone else but no, when I am at church I am not critiquing/judging the back of the heads in front of me, I am concentrating on the words being spoken by the priest. And the host was just cackling and loud too which fed his hysteria. It truly was uncomfortable to watch.

Eta: and yes yes yes about the frayed ends! The did a close up and most of his head was in frame and I noticed it too. I find it fascinating trolls come out of the woodwork to say how greasy Chaz's hair looks but not a thing about the dried damage ends on Nick with a somewhat oily scalp area? Personally though, I don't buy my products based on how the vendor looks, I buy it based on if it works for ME or not. Just thought it was interesting no bashing about nick's inappropriate church talk and being hyper and not so pleasant hair but raring to go when Chaz is on.

That was an uncomfortable thing to watch. Talk about an over the top presentation. If you hadn't posted this for us to watch I would have muted it for sure. It was almost manic.. He is waaaayyyy too rough with those model's hair. I find that disturbing even more so than the ridiculous comments about curly/straight hair and church ladies which I take with a grain of salt. It's his opinion only. I sure wouldn't want anybody roughing up my head like that. It would set off my vertigo!!

I could not believe he actually referred to the model's curly side as "Kim's evil sister Henrietta". 😡

I just took a look. Never used these products but

Impressions

1. I've seen him on air maligning Chaz and that's so low and unprofessional

2. His models' hair doesn't look nearly as healthy

3. Scary ingredient deck

4. What he accomplishes on air is mainly due to good hair cuts more than anything else. 5. He doesn't teach or demonstrate good HAIR CARE. Too busy on air being impressed with himself.

6. Eighties logo and packaging

7. Frenetic energy-so unlike Chaz. Maybe a host might wear you out but Chaz never does. More Zen Chaz and Angels, please. Can you imagine the WEN Kids trying to deal with this guy? They would be bouncing off the walls, as would the Angels!
