Hello wenners

I wanted to say hello to u all. I stopped using wen on and off fir many years and decided this year to fully embrace wen agsin. My hubby uses wen all the time TT. I have been on boards b4 but with all the nasty wen blasting I stopped. I do follow Chaz on periscope and FB all thr time . I love to watch Chaz on periscope. I ordered two TSVs TT and Fig. I hsve rekaxaed hair. I just could not let my relaxed hair grow out and go natural. I would if I could blow dry my hair out like Alisha's. I am using right now fig and 613. It is a learning curve for me. I have used the replenishing treatment mist but still see no difference in using it on my hair but do use it once I get out of the shower though. It was a greatvTSV yesterday and take the shows to watch.

Hello @Jax016! I have been using Wen for almost 4 years and my only regret is waiting so long to try it. I'll never forget, SAM was the first formula I tried and I saw a Huge difference there and then. A few hours later, my husband came home from work and the first thing he said was "Your Hair!"- he is the type who doesn't noticed a darned thing.

I also have my hair chemically straightened. As soon as I'm allowed to cleanse it, I use Remoist for several hours-Remoist has taken my hair to a new level. Then I either blow it straight with Chaz's brushes or else use hot rollers once it's dry.

The ladies here are the most helpful and friendly. Hope to see more of you here❤️!

hello @LIndaMJ. Thanks for the nice welcome. Great your hubby noticed and you are so right guys don't noticed a lot and great compliment to you. My huuby used wen for we think 10 years. I cut his hair and I kid you not as soon as I cut it, it grows right back and fast. He had dandruff really bad. He used H&S and SB and still had it bad. Watch Chaz for I think several years b4 I ordered TT for him and we noticed after like a month, he had less dandruff and now we rarely see it. OMG his hair is so freaking soft. I love rubbing my hand thru it. LOL LOL Since I found this forum, I will come back.

Welcome to the WEN forum. Good to see you back. You'll find this is a relaxed, welcoming, fun place unless someone disses Chaz!

Just a word of advice which you may already have learned - don't be surprised if you need to cut back a bit with the 613 eventually. I adore it, but it is loaded with protein and once your hair meets it's need, it might rebel a bit. Mine did and now I use it 1/2 with something else every other wash. You'll know.

I'd like to show a picture of one of our board members - @nikki48, I hope she does not mind! I think her hair is drop dead gorgeous! Pictured is her natural hair, and she also blow dries it without "relaxing" when she wants to.

in case you be interested to read how she does her WEN-care of her hair, that I find Fabulous! I only wish I'd have hair like Nikki's!

Hi @Jax016, I understand not being able to give up the relaxer. After recovering from surgery I just didnt have the desire to go through another relaxer. I ordered Wen to try it out and decided to set my new growth free, lol. Once it started growing and I liked the pretty, soft waves at the top of my head, I kept going.

As it grew longer, I wore ponytails, buns, heat styled... everything to make it blend. Until one day after cleansing I noticed my waves were cute and long enough for a ponytail. I grabbed the scissors and cut off my relaxed hair. To say it was a slow acceptance for me is an understatement, lol. I just couldnt commit to a big chop from new growth.

The RTM helps bring the life, moisture, shine and movement back to my hair when its straightened. I mist it in and brush through... if I want some wave I twist it like the models show and clip it. A little while later take it down and I have nice shape and soft hair again. I also use it on my curly hair. I have a small travel sized bottle of 613 RTM I keep in my purse for anytime use. I hope you find the best way for you to use it.

BTW, my hubby steals my TT too. I ordered a second TT TSV just for him. I am keeping the remoist, FVWP and maybe I will let him have some of the TT oil ( thats like gold around here).

@nikki48. Really Nikki. Still trying to work with RTM and styling creme. What I am doing right now is letting my hair air dry and then roll it but finding my ends are getting dry. Have been using TT oil and love the smell. Ordered TSV so will be able to use remoist. I have thinning hair and trying to see if I can get some growth using the TT oil. I am hoping one day thst I will give up relaxers. I have let it grow up several times but looked a hot mess and relaxed my hair again. Have u tried the new seasonal yet or you are waiting like myself? I am waiting to cleanse my hair until I get the new seasonal and try it. I use the oils every night b4 bed.

@Jax016 I am still waiting on my TSV to try the new seasonal. There are a review discussion about it here

The TT CC and oil can help the thinning, I recommend Fig for your ends as they are dry. Also make sure you are cleansing and rinsing with cool water, hot water will strip the moisture from your hair even more. I think the remoist will really help, start a regular routine of doing oil treatments and remoist treatments.

There are many ways you can play around with the products and see how your hair responds. You can use TT CC on your scalp and Fig throughout your hair (make sure those ends are getting some attention and love). You can also try using the Fig remoist as a leave in (mixed with oil and/or CC).

I'm hearing the new seasonal is moisturizing so that may be another weapon for you. Is this your first seasonal? If so, know they are sometimes hits or misses but each one is a different animal. You can read through the board for other options should you want to try something else. If it lives up to the good performance reviews, I am actually excited to try it.

This is why this TSV was so great, it really lets you experience how the treatments help make your Wen hair even better.

Yes, I am on Periscope.. my name is the same. I was on it heavily quite a few months back but I have tapered down lately, mostly because of just life. I try to rewatch when I have time but I havent caught his live scopes much unless I'm free.

@Jax016! What I know from my own experience, unfortunately those ends have to go............... The sooner the better and less painful, instead of cutting dog's tail "mercifully" only an inch at the time!

I believe @nikki48 also mentioned, she cut her hair in order to grow all WEN hair from the beginning......

Hi there. Glad you have rediscovered WEN. You mentioned the replenishing mists and seeing no difference. I really wasn't as well on my hair (although I use it on my skin before my routine and have notice a change in my skin for the better). But... recently I experimented with the mists and spritzed it on my hair after blow drying. I then brush it through, let it air dry (only takes a few minutes) and then brush through once more. Really brings new life to my hair and I think puts needed moisture back in after blow drying takes it out. My hair is smoother, softer, and falls into place nicely with fly aways tamed, not to mention smells great! Wish I had discovered this technique a long time ago.

Welcome!! 😀 Jax016- Welcome back, Returned after realizing wasn't cleansing properly. Key, WATER! Once adding more water made all the difference. Would also add, Stimulating my scalp massaging, No finger nails. Wenners very helpful. Learned a lot from them. Chaz booklets, Enclosed in every order helped immensely. BGT & 319 are my favorite. Oh, I'm so glad you tried the mists after blow drying! Now I know it's not just me! lol.... No, I've never used that dryer. I always buy a cheap dryer. Maybe I'll check that out, thanks for the tip. Have a happy day!

I will keep that in mind about the 313. Never tried it. Now that I have found I love these mists as my last step, I'm going to go for scent in future purchases. I picked up the FTP duo the other day and can't wait to get it. I love the 613 and the POM and Fig too. They just smell so refreshing. I want to try that new Jasmine scent as well. So excited about something so silly I know lol... It's the little things....
