I know some people don't care for the fig scent and it appears that if you don't like fig, you will like tea tree. The reverse holds true for me at least.

I also love the scent of the Fig oil, but the Pom oil is very heavy on the rosemary to my nose. I like the scent of rosemary, but not to wear...it's a very mannish smell to me. I was hoping the Pom oil would be more of a sweeter, fruity scent (like the Pom mousse, which to my nose smells like the Pom CC without the menthol). This is a weird mix to me and I won't repurchase. I wish I had gotten to smell the old Pom Bath, Body and Hair oil before the reformulation adding the rosemary.

So I'm seeing that the rosemary oil in tea tree darkens hair. Has anyone noticed that? Particularly blonde hair. I just started on a tea tree oil routine but I don't want to sacrifice my Goldie locks :/ Any input on this?

I just wanted to add that sweet almond mint oil is awesome for a stuffy nose. The minty vapors are really helpful for opening the sinuses. I'm sure the tea tree and lavender mint oils would work just as well. Another great use for the oils!

It is known to moisturize, hydrate and condition.

Olive Fruit Oil: Derived from olives, high in fatty acids and antioxidants. Moisturizes, repairs and softens the hair or scalp.

Organic Argan Oil: Derived from the nuts of argan trees, it possesses a remarkable ability to nourish, moisturize, eliminate frizz and improve elasticity. The oil is high in lipids, including the omega-9 oleic acid and the omega-6 linoleic acid as well as vitamin E.

All of the oils, old and new have Jojoba Oil. I'm not one to quote from a website without reference, so here is a good website I found with info about Jojoba oil and how it breaks down buildup, and also good information about some of the other oils we see in the Wen oils.

http://blackhair101.com/hair-care/oils-explained-essential-oils-and-carrier-oils-for-hair

No wonder the Wen oils are my favorite Wen product! So many good things!

_____

_____

Additionally, there's HBNY74's informative post on some of the treatment properties of the oils which is in post #8 of this thread...

I had saved this information from Chaz's website before he consolidated all oils on one page. It is the breakdown for the new oils. Given all the different oils he now uses (as opposed to only the jojoba oil, actually not an oil, but let not split hair..LOL), I understand why some say that the new oils are/feel heavier, especially with the addition of sesame oil, which is very viscous, compared to jojoba.

CUCUMBER THYME

*Jojoba

Thus thread reminded me of my (somewhat old now!) 2 bottle stash of PHILOS.

HAIR MARINADE!

That stuff is terrific and this thread has reminded me to use it! Since I didn't think it was available anymore, I was "saving" it...two 4oz. bottles. (Along w a bottle of SHEER SPLENDOR

Shampoo and a jar of SS Conditioner (smells like lemonade!).

Not sure what oils are in the ingredients...but I do remember how shiny and full it made my hair after an overnight treatment.

Wonder if PHILOS. still offers it..or will bring back...

Anyone else a former fan of these products??
