Your 319 Scent Impression Please

We all have such individual noses, but I thought it might be helpful to those who haven't tried the 319 NBT for the rest of us to give impressions of what we smell. I see ginger, clove, pepper, and lemon used as descriptions in other threads. Tell us what is strong to you, what is light and whether you think it is perfumy. The more of us that give it a try, the further we are to getting a 319 gallon in the fall. That's my motivation.

i smell a ginger & pepper primarily and as I have used it, I now detect a finishing note of lemon. After someone mentioned clove, that does seem to fit in the primary smells but only a hint - much lighter than ginger. It is not perfumy to me. It doesn't go straight to my head.

319 is Fragrance Free, but not necessarily without some type of smell due to the essential oils and botanical extracts used.

I don't like scented body lotions/body butters. It really bothers me if I've used something scented and I can smell it all day long. When the 319 NBT came out I figured I would give it a try. I do smell a light lemon scent but to me it's not strong, it's not perfumy and it does go away after a little while.

I smell a hint of citrus and a hint of lavender. The scent is very subtle.

I ordered mine today and I hope I wil be able to add my favorite oil to add scent for the lotion. I am ready to LOVE this!

lemony? in 613 yes but in 319 nope not in any of the 8 jars I have used up of the NBT.

I too have a highly senstive nose, take after my great-gram who worked in the perfum industry.

It reminds me of the scent the perfum by YSL Opimun after about 12 hours. The bergmot, nutmeg and rosemary are clearly there as the top notes with just a hint and that is just as you open the jar and take a smell.

Now as you wear it, there is hardly a scent at all, just a wiff of the bergmot and it dissapates very fast.

I have issues with strong scents {normally can not wear fragrances} , as much as I love 613, it gets to me fast but 319 is awesome and soothing at the same time

the 319 NBT is the first body cream that I can use daily on a constant basis to help with my extremely dry skin thanks to a thyroid issue.

I had to go read the ingredients because lavender usually triggers my asthma, but there's no lavender listed. Whew! I wonder what it is that smells like lavender.

I'm relieved to hear that there is no lavender in the 319, as it is an asthma trigger for me also. Thanks for investigating that matter. 😊 I'm looking forward to trying the 319.

@chynablue I always research ingredients because I'm flat out allergic to lavender and lilac in larticular, but other things as well. No lavender in the 319!

The lemon everyone, including me, is smelling is actually lemongrass. It does smell lemony but it's a distinctively more green lemon.
