Supporting Wen and Chaz

Many of you know this, I have been natural and a Wen girl for 8 yrs. In that time My hair has become healthier and grown much more than it would previously. We are showing Chaz and Team Wen our support on FB and Twitter using #IAmTeamWen.

If bad press can be spread let's try a flood of positive.

I have lots and lots of hair , actually I RARELY (never) see anyone my age that has hair as healthy as mine. I am not bragging but I get asked if it is all my hair , it looks so healthy. What do you use ? I always tell them Andrew Lessman Healthy ,Skin and Nails and Wen. jus sayin .... Lawyers stir up stuff for $$$$$$

Thank you so much for starting this thread and sharing your positive outlook!!!

Wen has given me my best hair days, weeks, months and years of all time. I am so grateful to Chaz for creating his Wen hair care system. And I am so appreciative that Chaz is such a generous and thougful person. I feel as though Chaz's positive energy is infused into each of his Wen products.

And I am so appreciative of the kind and generous Wenners in our wenderful forum for all the Wenformation and, more importantly, the spirit of friendship that everyone shares.

nikki, thanks again for starting this thread... Lol, it's just what the Wen doctor ordered.

Began using WEN for the first time a bit over a year ago. My hair wasn't unhealthy, but frizzy & oily. It has was very sensitive to fallout. I would find hair everywhere, my bathroom, bedroom, kitchens. You know the type of fallout you will mysteriously find in everything from appliances to your shoes. Had to wash it either everyday or every other day. While the structure was healthy it didn't look or behave like healthy hair. Had great results from the beginning with WEN, right away had less hair shedding. Only shed hair in my shower, very little shedding even in my combs. After a few months thought I would leave WEN because it was healthy enough to move on to regular shampoo. Not trash talking here but it was the NC advanced volume line. Sure enough the hair shedding returned and tons of frizz. NC makes good products but even those caused my hair to dry out and shed. Had to wash it every other day versus x2 a week, etc. Back to my old frizzy & shedding hair phase. Decided to return to WEN an haven't looked back. I've ventured into Tweake-d and Living Proof (still use their styling products, good products) but it was no WEN. Since being on WEN fulltime my hair is thicker, shiny, didn't need highlights this year because the color is more vibrant and less oily. Oh a big one for me and no other cleanser has done this, none except WEN, no hair shedding. My only concern at this point about WEN is I'm running out of room in my small house for my stash. Already trying to figure out where I'm going to store my next shipments of WEN and before Chazs next visit.

I'm in. After menopause, my hair went from oily to dry dry DRY almost overnight. It started breaking off, I was shedding, it was awful. I tried EVERYTHING anyone recommended from the forums to my hairdresser and nothing changed it. I had used WEN before meno and didn't really see much difference then, my hair was super thick and super healthy anyway. It took me a while to come to the conclusion I should give it a try again.

That was 2 1/2 years ago and it made a HUGE difference. I got my pre meno hair back.

Honestly, I do get tempted to try other products, but I haven't found another product that I would continue using as they just don't work for me. Tweak'D came close, but not close enough and I really can't handle the scent.

I don't believe any product works for everyone regardless of what the vendor/creator/sales people say. If it doesn't work for you, don't use it. The lawsuit is fact of life in this country and a fact of doing business unfortunately.

I'm not trying to jump to conclusions nor do I knock or care what people use on their hair or skin because one product does not suit everyone and you have to find the one that works and gives you the results you are looking for.

Having said that I have been using WEN for years now because prior to Wen I had some serious scalp issues the flaking was ridiculous I couldn't wear dark colors so I went to my dermatologist and he gave me a small bottle of shampoo that didn't lather after telling me I had become allergic to the sulfactant properties that make shampoo lather. What an improvement to my scalp and hair. My hair is thick and coarse, permed for over 40 years and colored for at least 30 years non-stop. I decided to try WEN after reading the reviews and posts here on the Q . I also must mentioned that I am not into those seasonal scents I stick to my Tea Tree, 613 and sometimes Fig. I forgot to mentioned I also had a serious shedding problem before WEN my pillow always had hair on it and I only use satin pillowcases I use to blame it on the weather changing but since I've been using WEN no more shedding.

Lawyers can be a piece of work but how else will they make money. I am not trying to lessen the seriousness of those claims but if I was using WEN and my hair was falling out or I noticed any and I mean any slight or significant change I would have immediately stopped using the products and consulted my dermatologist asap! There are so many unanswered questions in these claims.

Nice thread that you started whether it does or doesn't attract a lot of posts.

I have been using WEN exclusively for almost 5 years now and I won't use anything else. I used to have dry hair that had a hard time growing past my shoulders because of the breakage but these days, my hair is healthy and doesn't dry or break off and it grows sooooo fast! I keep it mid-back length but occasionally will grow it out to my butt and it looks amazing. I get compliments on my hair all the time now and have turned many of my friends and strangers onto WEN.

I also wanted to say how much my husband loves WEN too. He would get psoriasis on his scalp but since using WEN, not a single patch. No more itchy, dry scalp for him and he will not let anything else touch his noggin.

These posts about the lawsuits are inundating the forums and it is clear that there are many who have an agenda. There is absolutely no need to have a million posts on the same thing but I think it is obviousy WHY there is, I am just surprised QVC is allowing it.

Anyway, my husband, family, friends and I are all WEN users for life and no one is going to change our mind. I just want WEN and Chaz know that there are hundreds of thousands of supporters out here that look forward to future WEN offerings. It will be a cold day in heck when I, or others in my life, give up our WEN.

I am a stylist and I have ingredients sensitivities, eczema and seborrheic dermatitis. At one point I was losing my hair. I couldn't use anything fragranced and what I could use was awful for my hair.

Enter Wen. My hair and scalp are both happy now. I grew back the hair I lost. I still have to be careful which wen scents I use but thats MY responsibility to watch. The main sensitivity I have is a gluten sensitivity. The new FF is my friend as I still have times when I have flare ups and need FF products. I'll never use anything but!!

Btw, I bet those women aren't scrubbing their scalps enough. Years ago when I first tried to conditioner wash I lost some hair until someone suggested scrubbing more. Since there are no detergents it's the scrubbing that cleanses the scalp. Like a washing machine agitator. Conditioner washing doesn't hold a CANDLE to Wen.

Also one of the articles said there were no cleansing ingredients which isn't entirely true. Behentrimonium Methosulfate is an ingredient that is in Wen that's an emulsifier, so if you scrub enough it will get the job done. Thats common knowledge in the conditioner only washing set. It's what gives the frothiness to Wen.

Chemists work for shampoo companies too. Shampoo companies want you to buy... shampoo!! They have a vested interest in our buying those products. I will be a wen girl for life.

@ValentinaBon I also wonder why many of these negative threads about Wen haven't been deleted yet. It really doesn't make sense to me that so many that post on the QVC forums are allowed to post such insulting posts that aren't deleted.

You can post there, on your timeline (as an open post), and anywhere else you want to post it. You can also post on Twitter if you want. I just think it would be nice for the world and Chaz to see how many people love Wen.

Seems to me that if we find something to be an irritant, (I have sensitivities to various fragrances/products), we should immediately stop using it. Perhaps return it, and/or at the very least, write to the company so they can remedy the problem, ( if there is a problem with the ingredients, etc.). Keep in mind that I haven't been thoroughly reading about this 'problem', just heard about it.

I have been using WEN for almost 2 years now. I LOVE what it has done for my hair. I have 2 baskets FULL of cleansers & styling creme in my linen closet. I am set for a very long time & I will never stop using it! My beautiful, strong hair has given this 62 year confidence. Sorry that people are having issues with the product...I don't believe it is from using the WEN. There are thousands of us that use it, love it & have no problems with it. We love u Chaz & are grateful for your products.

Yep Susan, I have sent countless emails to the Q the past few days over the awful posts..

They seem to stay, which if I were Chaz I would not be pleased to say the least..

I am super glad to support WEN and Chaz, but he should not need any support because he has done nothing wrong!!!! It's the media as usual, greedy lawyers and some greedy folks..No one can believe that anyone would continue to use any product that would "make their hair fall out"...

.when Victoria Principal's eye cream made my eye area turn bright red and swell, I guess I missed the mark, I could of gotten on ET or called a lawyer or written nasty posts....hmmmm instead I quit using it! didn't blame her company or her, got some cream from my Dr and used something else next time...

This too will go away and we can have our wonderful WEN board back, but QVC should be ashamed of themselves for not backing Chaz and taking all the nasty down...

@ROMARY I also have sensitivities to many fragrances and products and really can't use them. I many times prefer a much lighter fragrance or even fragrance free product since many products can give me a headache.
