Wen - November Chat 2015

It's getting colder, the days are getting shorter (except for today due to daylight savings time), and the December TSV is getting closer and closer.

I'll be putting together a recap later today, but below are the three Wen December 5th TSV options. -- (5) 16oz. Cleansing Conditioners all individually gift boxed:

Classic (Core) TSV:

* Sweet Almond Mint (SAM)

* Tea Tree (TT)

* Fig (FIG)

* Lavender (LAV)

* Pomegranate (POM)

Seasonals TSV:

* Fall Ginger Pumpkin (FGP)

* Winter Vanilla Mint (WVM)

* Summer Honey Peach (SHP)

* Spring Honey Lilac (SHL)

* Summer Coconut Lime Verbena (SCLV)

Restorative line TSV:

* (2) Bamboo Green Tea (BGT)

* (2) Mandarin Italian Fig (MIF)

* (1) new fragrance free option

This is one time that I will be passing on the December TSV. It is a great value but I already have a huge stock and have been using 613 primarily. Now, if they would have a OTO on the 613 mousse, I would bite.

@KonaKat, I know what you mean about the 613 Mousse. lol, I'm jumping right past a request for a 16oz size and asking Chaz & Dooters for a 32oz. size. Then I can use 20 pumps of the 613 Mousse every time.

I agree. I'll also be skipping the December TSV. I have so much CC that I don't think I'll need more for a long time. I don't care for most of the CCs in the seasonal set and while I can use most of the core formulas I don't want to get stuck with a bottle of the LAV. To me, it almost smells as bad as FAS. I'd like to eventually try the new fragrance free CC but I don't want more MIF so I'll just wait until you can get a single bottle of it.

I'm planning to purchase one of each of the three TSVs.

I'm going to purchase the Classic TSV because I need a spare 16oz bottles of LAV and TT. And I want to give FIG and SAM another try, though I think those experiments are doomed to failure... once again... but, we'll see.

The Restorative TSV is a no brainer because MIF is my favorite formula, BGT is great, and I want to try the new rice-based fragrance free CC.

While the Seasonal selection isn't my favorite, lol, you can't keep this Wen girl away from her Seasonals. I love the SHP and I really like the FGP. I'm really looking forward to trying the Spring Honey Lilac (SHL) in advance of the spring, since the spring Seasonals are my favorites. This way I can figure out, in advance, whether or not I need to stock up on SHL (n addition to SOB and SGGT). -- I'm not a fan of WVM of SCLV but they work well for my hair, so it's all good.

I wish Chaz had included Winter White Citrus (WWC) in the Seasonals TSV because that's the only other Seasonal I haven't tried.

@bebe777 Yes, I'm leaving some TSV sets for you. Out of the seasonal formulas in the TSV I can use all of them with the exception of SHP. I don't care for the smell and it dries out my hair and makes it tangle like crazy. The others work fine for me but they're not exactly my favorite scents so I might as well save my money for some other Wen deal.

I have been re-thinking too...Since I have fallen for FTP, and have auto's on that I think I will stick with OTO's of WWC & maybe an auto of that....I may cave on the BGT/MIF, but I really want more oils...

I too will be passing on December even though it is so tempting. I'm really stocked up and will have four ad's coming soon. I will be focusing on stocking up on WCM during Dec. BTW still having sign on problems , anyone else? it's funny though I have no problem signing on to order. It's okay, truth be told I've been cutting back on my Q shopping.

I'll probably be skipping the Dec TSV too. The seasonal package will probably have too many of the formulas I either don't like or don't need more of. Considering my A-D purchases of the March & Sept TSVs, I have no need for any of the cores or rice formulas right now. That's fine. More for others who will be happy to take advantage of the great deals. However, if there are any WWC deals (OTOs), I may not be able to pass those up.

I'm getting the restorative set. I love MIF, my gallon of BGT is almost gone, and my Mom who has severe fragrance allergies is finally going to be able to try WEN!

I also can't wait for all things WWC! It is my favorite seasonal.

and the wenderful world of Wen!!!

It sure sounds as though the Restorative line TSV has your name plastered all over it!!! And it's even got a fragrance free CC for your mom!!!

While I'll be picking up one of each of the three TSVs and choosing the auto delivery selection, for the second June shipment I'll probably just be stocking up on the Restorative TSV.

I have also decided to skip this TSV. I am stocked up with the cores that I like from the September TSV, also stocked up on MIF from the March TSV plus additional purchases. I like most of the seasonals offered in that selection, but they aren't my faves. So I decided to stock up on winter seasonals, the winter oils and any OTO's or holiday specials that might be offered.

I can't believe I'm saying this...but I'm probably going to skip the TSV, too! I have plenty of core formulas, and don't want any more WVM or FGP. Since I mix, a 32 oz. Seasonal usually lasts me till the next one comes out, so I'll probably just get a 32 oz. Winter White Citrus.

For those of you who are choosing to skip the TSV, it seems to me that it would be a perfect way to share WEN with friends/family who may never have tried it. If they are already gift boxed, it would be a great way to introduce the product to a lot of people in your life. Would be a shame to miss out on the great pricing.

For me, I want the seasonals, only because of the Spring Honey Lilac, which I have never had a chance to try. I already have the pumpkin (gallon), the vanilla mint (gallon), still using the 16 oz of honey peach and gave away the 16 oz of lime verbena I got as a special; but I never had the opportunity to try the honey lilac. So when I get the TSV I will share the four I already have or have tried, and keep the honey lilac for myself. The other four will be very nice gifts for friends, and I already know which four I will share them with!

And if the CC doesn't work well for them, it also makes a great body lotion and body wash!!!

I agree that buying the December TSV would be a great deal if you want to give the bottles as gifts, especially if they're in the gift boxes. I don't know a single person who wants to try Wen, though, and I know from experience what it's like when people give you stuff you don't want at all. I wouldn't buy Wen as a gift for someone unless they had expressed interest in trying it.
