      <title>AMAZON return question</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't buy a lot from AMAZON but what I wanted had to be ordered...the item did not work out so I started the return process on Saturday, I was going to print the label on Monday and ship out.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This evening I was notified that I was issued a refund...I have not shipped it back yet...is this normal, I don't see how it can be!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It was a $100.00 dollar item, why would the seller not wait until they knew it had been shipped, and I supposed to not return it to them?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did go to AMAZON and try to contact the seller but could not find that information..any advice is appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;No that's not normal for an expensive item. &amp;nbsp;I've had two times where I was issued a refund after getting my QR code and they were both small food items approx. $3 each. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Yes, you are expected to return it to them unless the seller told you to keep it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You don't really need to print out a label. You can return it to one of their return locations and show the QR code they sent you. They take care of sending it back.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Amazon has always told me if I need to return the item or if there is no need to return the item in the message they send.&amp;nbsp; Did you read the message from Amazon it should state that there is no need to return or that you need to return the item.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The only time that has happened to me with Amazon was for an inexpensive item - I think it may have been about $5 or $6 dollars.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's happened to me twice on Ebay.&amp;nbsp; It was for clothing items.&amp;nbsp; Each time the product was defective and they gave me a refund and told me to keep the item or give it to a charity, etc.&amp;nbsp; Those times the items were about $20 each.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It does occasionally happen. If they don't receive the item back within a certain period of time however, they will charge your credit card for it. I've heard of people being charged six months to a year later for items Amazon claimed they never returned.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I found another book and he really enjoyed reading it.
