Pet Hair

I have tried all the things I read online to try and remove dog hair from a sweatshirt and 2 shirts.

Nothing has worked lol. The dog sheds terribly, I love the dog but it does cover my clothes in hair and would love to remove it! Its not just a little bit, its a ton!

Any other suggestions anyone has for me? I hope so!

Could you brush it every morning? Once they are used to it, they do like it.

We use Black & Decker's Hair remover, it's fairly cheap under $15 last I looked, it works well-even for our cat fur.

Just looked it up on "A" and it's on sale. FYI-11 cats shed a bunch.

I always found the best way to remove cat hair from fabric is to put on a dry rubber glove and rub it over the fabric. Works great on sofa cusions and bed covering.

I've used a brush similar to but not exactly the same as this one for over 20 years. You brush with a Velvcro-like surface, the hair collects in a reservoir,for you to remove when ful
. Ive had as many as 5 Collies and used it daily for my comforter as well as my clothes. It is extremely effective and picks up every hair.

This is on Amazon under "lint brush". My ability to post photos isn't working but it's under the name INABULETWO.

My outfits wouldn't be complete w/o some dog hair on them. But sometimes there's just too much of it so I keep a roll of wide blue painters tape just for removing some of the hair. Works like a charm.

I've tried a lifetime of all sorts of Pet Hair removal remedies.

My home (and car) have settled on always keeping an abundant, continuous supply of the following (see Amz pic). Has been a MUST for this forever & ever, multiple Pet Home.

Pet hair removal: I create a continuous circle of sticky-side-facing-out band of tape, wrapped around my hand/knuckles, (kinda glove of sorts), that I roll simply along the furry garment, & the sticky-side-out tape grabs & holds those errant fur strands like a magnet. Just toss the used tape out.

Other Pet Home uses with this tape also include: "coat/protect" high furry traffic'd areas like on the edges of a ppl furniture, or "cat tree," that now, deter cat scratching/tearing up, or that can repel pet fur gathering, in advance..

Plus, this particular tape has provided me with an abundance of many, many other pet/non-pet uses, and, at what I consider a reasonably nice price.

. I saw the recommendation that you wrote above. I'm a big fan of Black & Decker products so I immediately found it on Amazon and ordered one. It's been delivered and I now have it in my hand.

It's quite a different shape than the ones I've had but works
on the same principle and is the most sturdy one I've seen. It
seems to do a whiz-bang job. It surely beat the tape technique.

Whew! For one of my frequent "Senior Moments," I'd forgotten your beloved brood of 11+ kitties, most, all even Long Hairs, if I remember correctly. So, this product you recommend, heck-of-an-endorsement, @We rescue cats !

I live with cat hair, and I wear a lot of black. I've tried every fancy method out there, but the best thing for me is packing tape.

But I really don't worry about it that much any longer!

I appreciate your replys to me question, I forgot to say it is not our dog.

Its my Aunt and Uncles dog and I love the dog just not to be covered in its hair!

I already had to throw out one top and cant afford to throw every one that I own with the dog hair and would run out of clothes lol.

I have tried lint roller, packing tape, glove, scotchtape, and not one of these has worked. Unreal!!!!

They brush him alot and his hair just flies all over and is all over the sofa.

I just cant go out in public in the clothes filled with the dog hair, there is toooo much.

And I have allergies so another reason I need to not have this dog hair on me all day.

Will have to try the suggestions of the pet remover gloves or the black and decker hair remover!!!

@JoyFilledWarrior. No, that not it. It works similar to the one @We rescue cats posted but is smaller. A Velcro strip picks up the hair which is deposited in a compartment for later removal.

Just have 1 cat----I vacuum once a week and wash her sleeping blankies and I NEVER wear anything black------

I second the rubber glove. It's how I remove pet hair from furniture and sometimes the "Husky-mobile"........sticky tape will sometimes work well.
