@Luvsmyfam I'm so happy for you and glad you took the time to share ~ we all like to see positive posts! As I age and slow down my stress free days seem to happen a little more often ~ wish I could "freeze" those calming days for when I need them. lol

My BEST days are home days

Where the flowering trees shade my windows and I open them for a cool breeze

I tune out the noise and do either work at home or do the stuff at home I need to get done

The Beagle and cat sit on the patio in the sunshine and the day lingers in such a smooth

comforting way

It feels so good and away from the madness of the world

I'm looking forward to a calm, stress-free day. I'm hoping Sunday can be that for me.

One of my favorite ways to have a calm day is is to mow my yard. My brain completely relaxes and I don't think about anything. Weird but it works for me. Endorphins?

Love those days too....I have no phone calls to make, things to buy from the store etc...just me, a book and silence

You just reminded me of someone I used to work with. Because we were constantly on the phone at the office she said she invoked "silent Sundays" at her home. She was only avavilable for emergency phone calls and she her DH stayed home, read, cooked, etc. She said it was a good reset for the week ahead.
