Luminera 3 candle question

I have this lantern (see below) All of a sudden, the candles will not stay lit. The batteries have been changed, the remote battery is new. It is so odd, The battery box area is clean.

I went online to read what to do and it was suggested to take batteries out for 24 hours and also make sure the battery box spring is not to loose.

This morning batteries were put back in and the same issue still persists.

The batteries are new but just in case we put in a 2nd set of new batteries...still not working.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Sorry to hear this. I've had that same lantern and candles for a few years now with no problem. When one candle goes out I just change all the batteries in the other candles at the same time. Is it all the candles that have a problem? Do you have a different remote you could try?

@Estellee Yes all candles come on for a moment then go out....so odd.

Yes, I have other remotes I could try.

@Mom2Dogs I have several remotes I have purchased or that have come with other candles that I interchange. I did have an issue with one of those remotes at one time.

I assume the candles have a manual on/off switch on them. Do all of them still go out when you use that instead of the remote?

We put in another set of NEW batteries and turned the candles on using the bottom of the candle. The candles are all still lit.

The candles seem to be working ok now....the remote is working as well.

I find it hard to believe that it took 3 sets of batteries to find 6 good ones.

We have 2 5-pc sets of Luminera pillar candles that I rotate in our family room, we've had them for 3 years but this year both sets have been going thru the batteries quickly so I no longer 'light' them. I miss them!!

@We rescue cats That is disappointing when they quit working. Have you considered taking a couple of string lights, battery powered and wrapping around the candles...that could look pretty or place the string lights in the bottom of the lantern with some stone, moss, etc.

Oh good, that's what I was just going to write to you.

I have 5 of these lanterns and I never use the remote, they don't work then.

As you found the bottom button when blinking twice will re-set on the timer.

Pretty frustrating isn't it until a solution is found. They're not inexepensive!
