That photo is really funny. I can relate to when it finally cools down in S. central TX.

I woke this morning thinking --wow, it got cold last night. I checked my thermometer and it was 72 inside. That's not cold, but darn it, it felt like it since I kept my AC at 79 all summer. We're bouncing back up to the 80's today.

We don't really have Fall here. We'll have a period of time where it's just pleasant, after our hot summers. Then the northers start blasting through and it's what we call Winter.

We've had several years without a freeze, or just light freezes.

Still, people will be bundled up like it's zero degrees, when it's in the 60's for a daytime high. When we have an atypical winter blast, heaven forbid snow, no one knows what to do. We do not have winter survival skills here.

I moved from the desert west coast to PA 2 years ago. As soon as it gets down into the 60's here, I wear a fuzzy robe over my clothes when I'm home bc I'm freezing!

It's 60° with sun right now. A lot better then the wind & rain we had yesterday.

Our weather doesn't look to bad through Dec. It will start getting colder at night though but not bad for Nov-Dec.

I remember being in Hallendale, FL, visiting my aunt for a few days. It was February. Aunt Sue and I are in the elevator, in our bathing suits, heading to the pool. A woman gets on, she's wearing a fur coat. The temperature was about 70 degrees.

When it gets around 40 I will consider wearing a light jacket. I might choose to wear pants instead of capris.
