PA is pretty much the same! Several days ago we woke up to 34 degrees - brrr! It never got above 50 some degrees for several days and we had to put the heat on. For the past couple of days we have been in the low 70's. So - yeah - we go all over the place. Then, the next thing you know, we will get a hard frost and then we will start getting snow! Ugh! It's ridiculous!

@Starpolisher Truer words were never spoken! NJ has it all and executes it all in one day! Honestly though, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love the changing seasons, even when they're a little confused as we're experiencing right now. I don't believe I would be happy living in a state where the seasons never change.

I also love the changing seasons. We have had a great fall weather week. Chilly mornings, beautiful sunny afternoons. My favorite weather of the year. But I'm glad we have four seasons in SW PA.

Parts of New York State in the North Country and Tug Hill Plateau (the Adirondack Region) have already received several inches of snow.

Anticipating a good ski season in Upstate this year.

Meanwhile it will be late Spring in NYC this week.

@Starpolisher Haha! Your post made me laugh as it is so true. I've already had the heat on in the morning and the air conditioner in the afternoon! Doesn't happen often, but it happens!

@Starpolisher Love this! Not just NJ. In NC I woke up to 51 and heat on, but high is 80. Fall is always crazy up and down here. It's going back down to high 70 by Friday.

@Starpolisher thank you for posting this. It's so true. As other posters have said it's true about their area, it's also true of central NY, the Syracuse area.

I woke up to the low 50s, going to the mid 70s today. By the weekend, the highs will be in the low 50s, below normal.

The colors here were just spectacular this weekend.

I miss living in my home state of Jersey and go back as often as I can to visit.

Three weeks ago I moved back to NY (Westchester) to be closer to family. We'll see how that works out ... but I digress ...

Anyway, the weather has been beautiful, and the last four days I have sat out about 3 hours each day. My tan is back!

I'll take it.

Having moved from the N. Carolina Coast to the New Jersey Shore, I'm loving the Indian Summer!

I have my warmer fleeces ready for the upcoming week, but now, I'm in linen sun dresses during the day and LOVING IT!
