Three more days until the tax deadline!!! YAY! DH is working hard to finish returns and do extensions for those who didn't have enough info available. Then he takes a week off and we may go away. Another YAY!

I always pray for peace and safety for everyone not just on Fridays. So happy the parents were held responsible for their son's actions. I hope that ruling goes state wide as a warning.

I'll be with my DS and granddaughters on Sunday for another cookout. My son's a grilling fool...loves putting chicken and burgers on the grill and then adds corn on the cobb. Last time he sliced romaine lettuce in half and grilled it for a salad. So good!

We had terible storms last night and maybe more later afternoon. I think I'll keep my flashlights out. Hoping those in storms' paths stay safe.

This has been a very busy week for me. I'm looking forward to a little rest and relaxation. No cooking for me today YAY! We'll be having takeout.

The weather here has been crazy! Lots of rain and high winds. We even had a hailstorm earlier.

Well, I made it here, better late than never. lol

Right at the moment, the sun is shining. Here in central NY, give it a minute, and it could be raining yet again. We've had so much rain.......but it's better than snow. lol

@Shanus thanks for this week's friendly thread. ITA about the those parents and the implications for other areas/states. We love to grill veggies in the summer. YUMMY!

@MOMMAVik I pray for those same things. I have a dear friend trying to navigate nursing home care. It's a nightmare. Something so basic as care should be easy. *getting down off my soapbox*

@ECBG much good luck with walking and your appointments. I wish you well.

We're having our house painted in May, if all goes well with timing and weather. We decided on colors for the house, trim, garage, shutters, and doors. It was quite the negotiation, since hubby likes beige and I like COLOR! lol lol But, we worked out a compromise.

I hope your week goes smoothly. *fingers crossed*
