Shabbat Shalom and welcome to all who visit here on this beautiful Friday morning.

It's going to be 60 here with a bit of rain later in the day. I hope others are safe in CA and other areas of the country with unpredictable weather.

Weekend plans are cooking (lots) for the big game on Sunday. I'm making BBQ Pulled Chicken Nachos...yum! I. put cheese, black beans on large corn chips in the oven to melt the cheese. Then chopped lettuce/tomato, salsa and guac goes on top...sour cream, too for those who like it. Brownies were made yesterday and in the freezer to be served with vanilla bean ice cream, hot fudge sauce and whipped cream. That's a pass for me, but others will enjoy it. Of course bowls of snacks scattered around.

I wish everyone a happy, restful and safe weekend doing whatever brings you joy.

Good morning all. @Shanus YUMMMMMMM! OMG, your menu sounds delicious. I'm making ribs, guac, etc. for us. Will also be cooking a meal for my neighbor who is going through a very difficult health crisis right now. Hoping with all my heart that she pulls through.

@Shanus Thank you, but she is the most generous and magnanimous person, and would do the same in a heartbeat. She has for others, but hates taking or accepting for herself. I told her I wasn't asking, I was just doing. It's the least I can do for them.

Good morning everyone! Sending happy thoughts to all for a great day and weekend!

I cannot believe the temps we are going to have on Saturday and Sunday, may reach 60 degrees. Wow, I forgot what that feels like, LOL! We will enjoy the short reprive here in the northeast as we are in line for a possible substantial snow storm Tuesday into Wednesday. Like we always say in this neck of the woods......if you don't like the weather, wait a minute.

It's just me and DH for the big game this time around. He requested I make some homemade chicken soup with dumplings. We'll have some nice cheese, crackers and olives for a snack in the afternoon. I took a drive to the city to a nice Italian deli, they have some wonderful items!

We don't care who wins the superbowl so we'll just enjoy the game regardless. If your team is in it, best of luck

Shabbat Shalom, Happy Friday and yum ! ... Happy National Bagel & Lox Day! You are so kind @nyc1 to help out your dear neighbor. Wishing her a good recovery.

Small group for Super Bowl but they do have big appetites. Making chili with many toppings, tortilla wraps, chicken wings and dips, veggies & chips. Friends bringing desserts but the biggest dessert is a beautiful Danish Layer birthday cake for our son!

Thank you @Shanus for this week's "kick off"! Everyone have a great weekend, hopefully away from the storms. We see a promise here of Spring!
