INSTAGRAM HELP PLEASE

I had an INSTAGRAM account years ago and was notified through email to check out "what's new". Well, I have no idea who these people are...ladies in revealing bathing suits, ads for everything.

Have I been hacked and what do I do?

Wish I could help but I've never gotten the hang of IG. I have an account but it's not active. I know it's tied in to Facebook because, when I went on one day to follow my great-niece who uses it religiously, I had loads of friends that I'd never accepted on IG, just on FB. Wish I could help but I'm thinking I may be too old to figure it out!

I don't know whether you've been hacked but my IG feed is about 75% ads and other IG pages they think I might be interested in and then 25% are posts from the actual people I follow. I'm about ready to give it up.

i get NO emails from instagram and i am on it every day!

facebook and X (aka twitter) also.

You haven't been hacked, sounds more like a spam email.
