I really don't think they do, can't imagine having a position for that. I do think the readers report posts that ruffle feathers, then get their attention to remove them. I'm not saying this is the gospel truth, just my opinion, which means nothing to anyone other than me

I think "they" just watch for specific words that aren't allowed --I can't imagine "them" reading everything all the time. and then it's not real people but an AI program.

I would imagine that plenty of Qurate employees read the forums.

Maybe not in any professional capacity, but for personal amusement and such.

They offer a lot of free shipping days and items. That is one of the biggest complaints.

The complaints about hosts are not important. If you are complaining, you are watching. If you watch the chances are good, you’ll buy.

The mods do read the forums, so maybe they pass on data.

However, the amount of us on these boards are a drop in the bucket compared to the millions of households QVC is in. They do not necessarily have to do what we ask/say/complain about.

Many, many on these boards say they are not buying much anymore, shopping elsewhere etc.

For sure they are monitored for PR reasons, but our numbers are just a dot on the map. Of no interest since we are falling by the wayside. Continuing to wonder when we will be out of our misery.

I know that some hosts' instagram posts are monitored.

David V posted a pic of he & Jane promoting their new "Memories" Thurs night show and last night on his instagram page there were comments on both sides of the fence.

This morning the negative comments have been deleted and only complimentary positive ones remain.

I posted a suggestion on David's Facebook post about a product and he (or his alter self) replied.

As far as these boards, I doubt any of the decision makers read them.

I read a blogger a couple years ago. I can't remember the name and I accidentally came across it. It seemed very legitimate. He was an ex-QVC employee and said he would gladly answer questions but some he could not as it was forbidden.

Keep in mind I am only repeating what I read and this was about 2 years ago. But, he did say the hosts don't read this forum and are advised not to. It sounded like they were allowed to at one time but that changed. However, he said that "you better believe" there is staff that keep track of it and report to the appropriate departments.

For this reason, it could be why a particular host becomes rebellious and seems to enjoy annoying the viewers more after many complaints are made on this forum.

You can take it for what it's worth but it appears we are heard but perhaps not really listened to.

We know they do.....Does anybody remember the really funny post about a Susan Graver item that looked just like something out of Star Trek? It was a hilarious, long thread.....AND Susan and the host were talking about it during one of her shows....They were laughing about it, too.

@rockygems123 ... On IG they're gone?? I don't go on there but can the person they're talking about delete them? What I'm talking about happened several months ago. She really, really enjoyed laying it on thick a couple nights later!!

A couple of years ago I emailed the social team and asked that question. I received a very nice reply that yes, the forums were reviewed and comments and concerns were regularly communicated to higher ups. Customer feedback is very important in retail. Change is slow in a big company and I think that's why some have the impression that management doesn't pay attention to the comments and concerns here on the forums.

@rockygems123 I am not on Instagram, nor do I want to be. I also don't watch that show entirely because of JT being on it. I think it is very disingenuous to delete negative comments. What is the point of posting if all you allow are postive comments? Ok, maybe that was a dumb question. I guess my point is that you can't trust anyone or anything anymore if you are only seeing one side of things.
