It’s Snowing!

So far about four inches and really coming down; it’s so pretty.

My fur boys will be very happy come morning until they find out they can’t stay out in it all day because of temperature (high) around 22. Tomorrow night low is allegedly supposed to be four. Yikes!

@Malcontent Wow. Where are you located? Although I love the look of a fresh snowfall, I'd be happy with no snow this winter. Getting too old to shovel.

I do have to admit snow is very pretty when it's coming down... but stop at 4" please!!

@Malcontent Better you than me!! I hate snow even tho I don't have to shovel it or drive in it but it can make walking treacherous. Hope not to see a flake of it this winter--LOL!!

@Malcontent. Your cold weather is coming to Albuquerque and believe it or not, we could have a little snow Monday morning.

Hold onto your hat. El Nino is supposed to be back bringing more than normal snow this winter. We're in extreme drought and sure need the moisture.

Pops took out Guiseppi, Luigi, and Guido to PP even though they have PP pads and we both ran around the yard for 30ish minutes trying to get them all in.

And with the snow…and the boys…it begins.

Temperatures climbed over the weekend where I live. Back into the mid 80's. I'm not happy.

@kaydee50 I am so with you on this. I'm in CT. I loved that we had 2 mild winters in a row. Which means, and they are saying...we may be in for the opposite this year. I despise winter. And it's just feels like our longest season...probably is...not on the calender, but temps and weatherwise...it goes on for about 5 sometimes 6 months, bleeding into both fall and spring at both ends. ugh.

I've had more than enough "character building" of harsh winters, and blizzards to last my lifetime! We are hoping to plan to escape for a bit in Feb. Having some escape plans can help a bit...

I'm wondering where these people are too...the OP with the snow and the East Coaster (since I'm there too) with the predicted 4 degrees?!! Whaaat? Not. Ready. Ever. 😝

On a happier note...loved the temperate, summer-like high 70's into 80, with no humidity, we had yesterday and all last week. That may have been our last hurrah. Today, cooler temps and lots of rain predicted.

We were supposed to get our first snow overnight but it's just cold and windy here. I'd be glad to skip snow and ice forever.

All the weather and El Nino is saying the southern states will be wetter and colder than usual and the north will be warmer than usual but I haven't read more details but did see a map of who will get snow this fall/winter and it did show Colorado now-pretty neat!

I'll take any snow that anyone else doesn't want.

Last few years all over the US were not such a great winter wonderland. Pitiful!

I'm actually hoping for a good winter (lots of snow) in the northeast! I love it and can't wait until that magical first snowfall of the season. Like @amyb stated it hit 80 yesterday and today is only in the 50's with lots of rain this afternoon. Good day to watch football!!

I don't mind snow but not ice. I enjoy the change of seasons but the real cold stuff I'm not a fan.

I really don't want to hear about snow. I detest it. But I'm glad you and the fur babies will be enjoying it. What part of the country are you in?
