Tomorrow is September 1st

I'm happy the month of September will be arriving tomorrow. I love fall and looking forward to some cooler daytime temperatures. I do so much better doing my chores outside and taking my little fur baby for walks when the temperatures are cooler.

How about you? Are you glad summer is fading away OR do you love summer and not such a big fan of fall?

I, too, am a lover of all things autumn (especially the weather). I'm am thrilled to say that summer is in the rear view mirror.

Unfortunately, we are expecting several days next week with temps of 95 degrees. Not happy about that, but at least I know they are on their way out.

Hard to believe another month is over. Temps the next few days in the low to mid 90s. Summer is not over yet but my favorite months are Sept/Oct/Nov. Not much of a summer fan anymore.

The only thing I like about Fall is the decorations. Give me 6 months of summer, 4 of spring and 2 of fall. When I have to put on a jacket or turn the heat on I am not a happy camper.

I love the fall so much more than the heat of summer. I just don't do well in hot, humid conditions. However, next week the temps will be in the 90's. 😥

I love spring and summer. While I hate the heat and humidity,I love the flowers, sunshine, birds and bunnies.

To me, fall means winter is right around the corner. I do enjoy fall's cool breezes and warm blankets and hot cider. I love Christmas so eagerly look forward to the holidays.

I love WV summers, and enjoy every single day regardless of conditions. I cannot relate to sweltering temperatures and unbearable humidity, as this area does not experience conditions like that. My area has not recorded a 90 degree temperature this summer, altho we have been close. Even on our hottest days there's usually a breeze, and rain has been plentiful all summer.

I am not at all excited about fall.

Summer can go away and never return. We've had around 53 days over over 110 degrees and many nights where the low didn't get below 90. Haven't seen and real rain in months. Can't wait for cooler weather. I'm over summer.

Here in Colorado sometimes Fall passes us by. We can have beautiful turned golden and red leaves and one snowfall can wipe them all out.

It's fun anticipating the leaves changing especially in the mountains, never knowing how long it will last.

Spring and summer are my favorite times. I love summer veggie and fruits. Tomatoes aren't so good unless you can pick them ripe from the vine.

I love the flowers and trees. I enjoy swimming and boating and traveling.

It's easy to dress, you don't need a ton of layers. Shoes hurt my feet, sandals are more comfortable.

I miss it when the warm and hot weather is gone.

Fall is nice, but not long enough. I really get no time to wear fall clothing. It seems we go from summer right into winter and winter is way too long.

I don't like summer. Too hot. Too humid. Especially here in the Southeast. Sadly, September isn't that different for us. Most of October too. I was born in the Northeast and loved the fall. I was so happy when AC can be shut off and there was a snip of cool in the air and you needed a light sweater.

The best thing in Sept. especially Sept 1, is our wedding anniversary which is today the Sept. 1 Have been married for 61 years today. Hope we keep going like my parents who were married for 72 years. Both of them pass away in their nineties.

It's September 1 but it certainly is not Fall. Not by a long shot. It's still summer and will be for a month or longer. Next week in the Boston area, the forecast is 80s and sunny all next week. I love Fall weather when it comes in mid October but it's bittersweet because Fall ushers in winter. That I do not like. The Farmer's Almanac is predicting an early, very cold, snowy winter for us.

I started my closet switch - the “summer colors were the first to go away and all the white pants stored.

Got out the sweaters and light jackets.

Going to do shoes today - an easy switch.

September doesn't mean cooler temperatures. This coming week in Indiana the temps will be in the 90's. Too early to put summer clothes away. Summer will be hanging on a bit longer.
