STORMS AND RAIN ALL WEEK

I sat holding my flashlight last night since flooding and loss of power is possible.

It's pouring rain. I have appointments, errands and need to be out early today.

Anyone else in these areas of bad weather, please stay safe.

I live in South Florida and it seems like it could be an early hurricane season with storms looming in the caribbean. Usually the worse here is between August thru October.

We had some areas of record flooding but not close to where I am, TG. Housing developers build houses where they shouldn't build anything...flood plains.

Luckily our house and offices are uphill, so flooding not an issue for us, but driving is awful!!! Molly not thrilled going out either.

We had storms in Oklahoma over the weekend....some are still without power..I believe two people were killed...stay weather aware if you're in the path of these storms...stay safe

@Shanus We had almost 2 months straight of atypical monsoon weather here in normally semi-arid metro Denver.

Biggest thunder have ever heard in our 25 years here. Hope you don't get such a long lasting weather pattern! We just got out of it the last couple days, for the first time in many weeks no rain in sight for the next week. Have to say does look beautiful, green as Maui.

some days of rain and cooler weather are expected beginning today and tomorrow in the baltimore. yesterday it was 90, today is supposed to be 80. they say the rain will help make a dent in our drought situation, which will be a good thing.

Hope you got all of your errands done. I went to the drug store, Fresh Market and our regular grocery store.

The low is over Tennessee and spinning counter clock-wise. Some are under a wet band as it spins, some not.

I turned on my wipers for 30 seconds twice.

They said south of Greenville, SC is getting enough water to flood.

Yup! I can see the rain coming all right....next week is my birthday and last year's birthday brought us torrential downpours. We couldn't even get dinner out, it was a "wash out". Next week looks similar. You stay safe!

I'm ready to float away. Lol. Still raining after 5 or more days of rain/storms and more predicted through Sat.

My hair is really curly and Molly's chomping at the bit since she's missing her daily walks.

I can't remember when we've had this much rain....Good maybe for the farrmers, but not great for me!!!

Many thanks. All we can do is hope for the best. At least the rain chances are 50% according to their area weather.

Next year we will likely go back to our other beach, although, I love all of the surrounding stores and how close we are to Southport.

This beach has high berms in front of all of the houses which are miserable to climb. DH said last night he doesn't like to walk the beach early with his coffee because of them. That did it for me.

I just heard Saturday will be 80 and sun! Tell Molly to hold on!
