74 degrees!

It's a gorgeous 74 degree day, we're south of Boston. Spring just snuck up on me. I went for a short walk and it felt so good. I'm not sorry to see winter go.

I'm in east central PA. and it's 72 here. We didn't even have a snowy winter. Not even sure we got 10 inches of snow. I think avg. is about 32 inches. The past couple of nights, though, it's been below freezing. Forsythia is in full bloom, hasta is poking up thru the ground and I have a bleeding heart that's just about 4 inches tall with flowers in full bloom. Friday is to be in mid 80's. I'm thinking next year winter will bite us in the butt.

We have been having 80 degree weather for the past several days in SoCal, a relief after the heavy rains off and on since January, suppose to cool down in the high 60's then back up to the 80's by this weekend, I was cleaning house this morning, sweat pouring down my head/neck, yuck, not really looking forward to the summer months.

I am in Southeastern Wisconsin and it is 77 degrees today and sunny! Breezy! Tomorrow we are supposed to hit 80. It isn't going to last though, back down to 50 on Saturday! Feels good though!

I am in south central PA. It is 73 today. It's supposed to be 86 on Friday!

I can't wait. We are going to open up our lake place this weekend. Friday will be beautiful...rain is due on Saturday, Sunday, but temp in high 70's. I'll take it.

I love spring and summer..fall too. I hate cold weather and am glad to see it go.

I am in Ohio, beautiful warm day here as well. I managed to get 2 full trash bags of leaves out of the yard today. Lots of things are popping out of the soil, hostas, day lillies...

@Teddixat - I'm in Ventura County also - Simi Valley. It is 75 here at the moment. Nice to meet a fellow poster from our area. Our weather is usually in between the San Fernando Valley and the coast. I've lived in Simi since 1972. The weather has changed a lot since then. We didn't put AC in until 1977 because it only got really hot for maybe 2 weeks per summer. The nights were great with a nice coastal breeze. Not the same now.

@chrystaltree Same happening here in NC. After several cold days of rain, we're in the 70's and 80's. Fall/winter are my favorite seasons....sweaters for sure over heat and humidity of summer.

Luckily, the weather is not at all the same for the 70+ years I've lived here. Global warming? Just milder winters and pleasant springs. Summers are still hot and humid.

The low humidity is what makes it feel so nice. I feel miserable when the high humidity hits us.

We had snow, icy cold winds, and 20 degrees one day and 80 degrees the next day, common for the midwest in March and April.
