Hello my friends! Busy day here today. We went to see the house that is standing there empty for a number of years, Greg's parents house. It needs a lot of work, I think they still want to live in it for a couple months until they find themselves a house, but the rooms need paint and carpeting. Then spruced up our house again for the showing, haven't heard a thing again, hope it's good feedback followed by an offer!! We never even got one offer yet! Praying to St. Joseph, he's the best realtor. And Happy Anniversary to Harlene and husband! 47 years of happiness - great to celebrate!!

Nothing is ever quite as bad as it seems. Call on God and then practice expectancy

and optimism and things will turn out better than you expect. Lord, thank You for

tomorrow.

We can be at home and comfortable in the world. Yet some of us live
lives of quiet desperation. This is the opposite of being at home and
at peace in the world. We can let our peace of mind be evident to those
around us. We can let others see that we are comfortable, and seeing
it, know that it springs from our trust in God. The dull, hard way of

The mess to clean after a party because it means I have been
surrounded by friends.

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when The alarm rings, thank
you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long
as possible, thank you, Lord, that I can see. Many are blind.

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising, thank you Lord,
that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost,
toast is burned and tempers are short, thank you, Lord, for My family.
There are many who are lonely.

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in
magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced, thank you, Lord, for
the food we have. There are many who are hungry;

Even though the routine of my job often is hard, thank you, Lord, for
the opportunity to work. There are many who have no job.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my
circumstances were not so modest, thank you, Lord, for life.

Pass this on to the friends you know.
A friend is someone we turn to when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure for our friendship is a gift.

Gloria, I hope the house works out for Darla and Greg. Did you put the statue of St.Joseph in your front yard? That's supposed to be what brings the sale, though prayers never hurt. I can't tell you exactly, but I think the statue is to be buried upside down, and in the front yard. Maybe you can look it up for more exact info? I do remember the statue had to be there... Good luck if you try it!

Hello to all of our friends here! It turned out all of the internet issues were caused by a contrator who accidently severed a fiber optic cable. We assumed it was the storm... I did my volunteer work today, so I just remembered I hadn't posted. Wishing everyone a good evening, and praying for you daily. pinky

Harlene - how did go today? prayed for him. The feedback for yesterday's showing was everything average, good feedback, but not interested, but we're not worried. It's going to happen soon at the best time, that we know.

Pinky, I think the house will work out for them temorarily. Greg's parents want it fixed up now not only for them to live in for a couple months, but also for sale. The house is about 100 years old. We have a large statue of the Holy Family for our Grotto with the stable in Granite, which will have to stay here, and we think that is enough, not burying St. Joseph, but praying and asking him to be in charge will be sufficient. We both think that burying the statue is superstitious. The house will sell in God's perfect timing. He knows we didn't want to move twice, now we won't have to, and we know it will happen soon enough. Good your internet issues are solved now.
