NOTHING can inspire me to clean. I do what I have to, without inspiration. Just part of being responsible for keeping up with my own habitat. Like it or not, I am a thorough housekeeper and I do know how to clean without viewing a video on YouTube. But I'm sure there's always something new.

I learned to change the oil on my motorcycle by watching YouTube. That was inspiring.

@gizmogal I'm with you - can't see where anyone or anything will inspire me to clean!!! So what if there is alittle dust or disorder!! I do clean up spills though. I usually just clean rooms a little at a time and never clean a whole room - just what might need it! The only inspiration is when we need a plumber or stove fixed!!

I'd probably feel defeated before even starting. I do what I have to but have never been an overachiever in the housecleaning department. As I type, I know there are nose kisses on our patio door and it would be pretty easy to find something with dog hair on it. 🤷‍♀️

@KathyM23 I have a cleaning service every other week for 3 hrs. and then I clean/vacuum on alternate weeks.

My beagle, Molly, requires the house at least weekly dusting and getting extra fur off the floors. Although she's restricted to the first floor, it's still needed.

I've been cleaning for 52 yrs. of marriage, no instructional videos needed.

I do what i can. i don't go nuts cleaning like i did when i was younger. i would like to cut down on clutter though. i don't know how to do this. i'm shredding constantly.

I try to think of cleaning as exercise. I'm looking forward to retiring so I can break it up and do a little each day. Those marathon cleaning days of my youth are no longer doable. Thank you, OP, for recommending the YouTube series. I'm one of those oddballs who thinks cleaning and organizing is fun. 🤷

If you want inspiration, watch an episode of "Hoarders". It works for me every time.

For some crazy reason, I put on "50s, 60s CLASSIC ROCK RADIO STATION" and "my AGED body just ROCKS with energy" (to clean) (only) to a more inspired extent, but then, I'm easily p00ped!

One task, I really enjoy is... Washing, Drying, perfectly Folding, neatly putting away *MY OWN* Clothes.

... when finished, it feels like I have a "full bank account (of clothes)"

But a trusted "cleaning person" sureeeee does sound wonderful!!

. . . . Maybe I can budget that!

@house_cat OMG Hoarders! I can't watch that show anymore it just honestly turns my stomach. Especially the bathrooms and kitchens. It's a horror show.
